Heather's POV
"You know you should not act surprised to see me. I mean, you expected me to visit. I don't get why you are giving me faces,'' I said while making my way into Max's apartment.
He looked worried, but for now that wasn't my business. I had another business I needed to take care of, so I had to get to it.
"Why are you saying I should not be surprised? You should know better…we are not even close and I don't even want to start with how you got to know where I reside. What's up with you?" Max said in a grumpy manner.
I started feeling like I visited him at the wrong time, I felt like asking the ground to open so I could go in. I was already feeling messed up, and all I wanted to do was to come and chill.
