A few hours later Wo Shie woke up in an infirmary with a cute nurse standing over him, "You're finally awake huh?" The nurse said, she couldn't see his eyes open because they were covered by his outfit, but she had been carefully monitoring his output of spiritual energy.
The nurse found his energy odd as she could t divisively deem it as spiritual energy because it had an odd familiarity with the new energy that had replaced the spiritual energy over the past month. But since she was still unfamiliar with this new form of energy she decided to call the energy coming out of Wo Shie's body spiritual energy.
She noticed the energy was leaking out of the child's body like someone had opened a drain of an infinite ocean. There was no stop especially while he was unconscious. The energy was wild and chaotic which she deduced was the cause of him passing out the way he did after only a few exchanges.
She had spoke with Fu Shen and heard that the young boy had just stepped on the path of true cultivation, and this confirmed her suspicions.
"We'll I'm glad that you're still with us young master Wo Shie, do you remember what happened?" She asked as Wo Shie started to sit up while rubbing his temples.
"Y-yea I was sparing with Fu Shen and was about to launch a counter attack." Wo Shie responded making the nurse's face change into a shocked expression.
She recalled Fu Shen explaining after their last exchange Wo Shie had fallen on the ground on a knee for his last conscious thoughts to be a counterattack spoke volumes. The only was for someone to counterattack in a battle of flow was for them to be in fine tune with the movement of energy and also have to ability to increase and decrease its momentum to one's own desire.
"Interesting, does the young master know why you passed out during your sparring session?" The nurse asked wondering if the kid was aware of his own faults and weaknesses yet.
"No…. I saw the opening to counterattack but before I could take it everything went black and I woke up here…" Wo Shie said with his head down, he didn't know why but he felt like he was always asleep and never truly present and when he was he would somehow end up asleep.
"Well since you don't know I'll tell you what I think it is, I believe you passing out is a result of too much unconscious cultivation without being consciously present to see your strength grown and gain the ability to reign in your own strength." The nurse said.
Hearing this it was like a lightbulb in Wo Shie's mind lit up. It made sense, he had no idea how strong he actually was right now in addition to not knowing his own current strength on many occasions had he grown significantly stronger in what seemed like overnight to him because he hadn't consciously attained that level of strength himself.
"It seems like you understand what I'm trying to say, I'll add if you want to be able to use your full potential first begin to learn your current strength also begin to consciously cultivate, and try your best to limit your unconscious cultivation. Only the highest level of geniuses can cultivate without trying but too much of it could be a more of a detriment than a boon to any geniuses cultivation." The nurse added seeing the contemplative and understanding look on Wo Shie's face.
"Thank you misss umm…." Wo Shie said while trailing off and pausing because he didn't know the woman's name.
"You can just Calle me nurse Ariane, if there's anything you need come let me know and if you have any questions regarding cultivation I suggest you as Fu Shen. If you ask me he's no less of a genius than you when it comes to cultivation some say he can cultivate while simply breathing and hasn't gone into a single secluded cultivation and still has already become an immortal before the age of 30." Nurse Ariane said with a gentle smile as she turned around to focus back on her duties.
