Chapter 61 - The Council of Light

Hearing the man bringing up learning how to see Wo Shie became conflicted, it didn't seem as if this man was actually here to hurt him. In fact it seemed like he was at least helping him with something, Wo Shie just couldn't understand what learning how to see was supposed to mean, he could already see perfectly fine.

Seeing Wo Shie's confused and contemplative look the man spoke again, "You possess the eyes of the infinite do you not child? To see with the eyes of the infinite is to see infinitely and infinity. Do you still believe that you can see?" The man said his voice just as soothing as before however now it carried a force that made these words go to the core of Wo Shie making the universe within his body tremble upon hearing them.

"Then n-no…. I can't see…" Wo Shie said in a low voice with his head down he knew from talking to Fu Shuo that his eyes would be a great source of his power so if this guy was going to help him master them then he wouldn't hesitate to go with the flow here and do as he was told.

"Then as I said do you wish to learn how to see or do you wish to make this place your eternal grave?" The man spoke again his voice no longer carrying an invisible force.

"I want to learn how to see!" Wo Shie said with his voice full of determination and clutching his fist. At this moment his senses began fading as the space seemed to become darker and rather than it feeling as if his body was going numb it was more so as if his body was slowly disappearing.

"Good, then the first step in seeing is to perfectly see yourself, once you can perfectly see yourself inside and out this space will no longer effect your sense, also I recommend you begin this process as soon as possible unless you're fine with disappearing." The man said in his gentle voice before disappearing leaving a lone Wo Shie in the abyss of utter darkness.

'I didn't think he would be so quick to be ready to train, but it's always something about those eyes of the infinite holders…' the man thought to himself as he entered a great hall his figure changing from the snow haired man to a humanoid body of light.

Inside the great hall were 8 other humanoid bodies of light sitting at a round table with a true sun at the center of the table.

"How is the child? One of the humanoid figures asked the one that just entered.

"He is fine, if he is able to accomplish this task he will be able to serve his purpose to that world." The man that just entered said to the other members at the table.

"Do you think he has what it takes to accomplish this task? Only one out of every quintillion possess the talent and determination to pass the trial are you sure you shouldn't have given him more time to mature before dragging him there?" Another figure of light asked their voice obviously holding hints of concern.

"He will be fine, and if not I will take responsibility and commit the taboo of saving his universe." The figure that entered said causing everyone in the room to become silent in shock.

The council of Light was forbidden from interfering in any world my matters whether it be to mingle with mortals, lust after immortals, or converse with the gods. The council of like had one job and that was to guide those in any universe through their path of using the eyes of the infinite. Their concern wasn't with morality or humanity only to see those that possessed the eyes of the infinite naturally were able to grow to their zenith.

"Are you sure this is the path that you want to take? How much do you believe in that child?" A feminine figure of light asked he voice like soft waves crashing on a cliff side every word coming with its own vibration if a mortal were to hear her speak they would be blessed beyond words and considered a genius off the sheer impact of the vibrations in her voice.

"I do not know but I believe he is the one unlike his predecessor of that universe. Excuse me, I must be going now I need to monitor his progress." The man said, after saying that he disappeared from the hall in a flash of light.
