Fu Shen released Wo Shie from underneath his foot going back to his original position allowing Wo Shie to stand up.
He stood up with fire in his eyes as he rushed at Fu Shen with a fire in his eyes, the only problem was he couldn't touch the Fu Shen that seemed to be standing completely motionless.
Every punch and kick he threw at him missed by a hairs length, causing the rage Wo Shie felt to rise exponentially while he increased the speed and strength of his blows continuing to miss the motionless Fu Shen by a hair.
Finally his breath became labored and he stopped throwing punches causing Fu Shen to laughed and say, "Do you understand or would you like me to Imari more of my gracious wisdom."
"You're not even moving…" Wo Shie said with his voice trailing off as he became closer and closer to falling into despair.
Before giving in to his despair he took a few steps back while calming his breathing. In this moment he was able to feel how chaotic his energy had become. He could sense that his energy was like that of a raging river going in every direction.
He began to calm his emotions subconsciously he must have felt an added pressure being taught such a humiliating lesson in front of so many people.
However for the onlookers what was more shocking was how he was able to reign in his energy, most of them had practiced and cultivated over 10 years and this level of energy control was still out of reach for most of them. So for them to sense his raging energy calming so quickly and suddenly only shocked them more.
They knew Fu Shen was a renowned genius but none of them had heard of the genius accepting anyone as a disciple he was still a junior in the eyes of most seniors however he was definitely more senior than them.
Luckily enough for Wo Shie these juniors upbringing was respectable enough to the point they knew they were responsible for creating a name for themselves and wouldn't survive off the name of their forefathers so seeing Wo Shie's attainments in controlling his energy only made them want to work harder how could they be bested by someone that was junior to them.
Seeing Wo Shie reigning in his energy a beaming smile spread across Fu Shen's face as he said, "Remember self control is the only true control you ever have, you can back your opponent in a corner but you can only do that by first controlling yourself and your emotions."
Hearing this Wo Shie finally understood the stupid rhyme Fu Shen mentioned about dancing. This almost got his emotions to rise again thinking about the obvious wordplay but he quickly reigned in his emotions and began to focus on the energy of the training grounds and the faint almost non-existent energy surrounding Fu Shen.
It had to be known anyone else at Wo Shie's level would not have noticed the energy around Fu Shen. However, Wo Shie was in possession of a divine universe tree as his sea of consciousness if he had awakened his dormant soul even origin gods would have trouble concealing their energy from his senses.
Once Fu Shen saw he had reigned in his energy and was calm Fu Shen again launched his attack again disappearing from where he was standing. This time he moved faster causing not a single onlooker to track his movements, only the older and more talented ones were able to sense the change of the flow of energy in the room predicting where he would attack.
Wo Shie side stepped while leaning his body towards evading the attack, still the force from the attack was enough to lift him off his feet and cause him to move a few feet. Wo Shie couldn't help but wonder internally why Fu Shen wasn't holding back and fighting on his level like he had normally but he didn't have enough time to think as he could sense the flow of energy in the room shifting again while Fu Shen launched a follow up attack.
This time the blow came from overhead while Wo Shie was in the air, luckily he had already started shifting his weight to flip sideways back on his feet the moment he became airborne. This allowed him to use this momentum to parry the overhead blow with a kick.
Their attacks collided Fu Shen's attack having more power caused Wo Shie to face some recoil. Again he used the momentum to tuck his legs in and flip backwards back to the ground. He landed in a kneeling position with his head down as the shock of the blow reverberated through his entire body.
His body was shaking and he collapsed as the few exchanges took out more of him than he expected. Still this display of his was enough to earn the respect of all the onlookers. Who would have expected a person at Wo Shie's level to even last one exchange with the renowned genius they knew Fu Shen was holding back but still… The genius had mastered the art of flow before his 12th birthday, his attainments had to be higher now as he had only mastered it at a proficient level back then.
