Chapter 40 - Reunion 1

"What do you think?" Fu She has just about popped up from nowhere. Wo Shie hadn't seen him anywhere in the hall when he entered so he was startled to hear the man's Voice appear out of nowhere.

"Yeo!!! Don't sneak up on me like that! Is there a reason you always feed everyone and are so nice all the time?" Wo Shie asked Fu Shen as he could never see himself caring for a bunch of people that had never cared for him.

"Hmm it's a lot deeper than just being nice, one reason is it just makes me feel good to see everyone happy and know I could have made a moment of their lifetime easier. The other reason is too deep for the current you to know." Fu Shen said while heading towards the table to join in the daily buffet.

Wo Shie had again heard he couldn't learn of something now, he didn't know if it were his age or his strength, but in his mind it was his strength if he could only become stronger he would be able to know more about this world.

Wo Shie resolved his will and went to the table also joining in on the banquet eating his fill while observing the people and conversations going around the hall.

At this moment while Wo Shie was quietly observing after eating his fill he noticed a woman that looked nothing less than a God descended from the heavens walking into the hall.

By her apparel it was easy to tell she wasn't a maid or a servant from this palace. He silky caramel skin glowed I'm from the exposed areas of her jet black dress, she had on a pair of Snow White heels that added an inch or two to her height while also also making her caramel skin that much more pronounced.

The shoes complemented her silver hair and grey eyes extremely well. If any man without self control were to look at her face they would fall into the trap that was her eyes and may lose their life out of their lack of control.

Luckily Wo Shie was still a child, Fu Shen was a man of values, and all the maids and servants lacked nothing so something like that wouldn't happen here.

When Wo Shie's eyes landed on Lui Marime for the first time he felt a connection with someone familiar to the one he had with his mother. Yea it oddly felt deeper as he could feel her existence looking at her.

He felt from just this glance he was looking at someone he lost a long time ago. It brought feelings of anxiety and fear but also longing, a longing just to talk to this person.

Lui Marime was told that this was the castle of Fu Shen so she gracefully made her way to the end of the table that Fu Shen and Wo Shie were dining at and did a slight Bow towards Fu Shen.

"Hello young master Fu Shen, I Am Lui Marime, I was instructed by Elder Fu Shuo I may search the entire city looking for something, I didn't expect to find what I was looking so close by. May I trouble you to speak with your young disciple in private?" Lui Marime greeted Fu Shuo and got straight to the point.

For younger cultivators time was always the most important resource because a couple seconds wasted could cause years in cultivation stagnation just by missing an optimal moment or even missing out on events or natural treasures.

"Hmm, that's fine but bring him back in one piece, I've definitely heard of the immortal terror Lui Marime." Fu Shen said as a cold chill went down his spine Lui Marime was famous not so much for her adventures, but due to bringing weak willed God's to their knees and even crippling their cultivation. She was a devil in the skin of an angel.
