Chris who was earlier in support of the idea thought about it again and saw that what Clar was saying was the truth, supporting Blue in killing his mother would only temporarily help them but in the long run, would lead to bug problems, but looking at the effect this war may have killed his mother would not be such a bad idea so Chris decided to air his view.
"I understand what you are scared of Clark, I can see that you are not just looking into the present but into the future and that is what makes you the true business tycoon that you are. But look at this, the lovers we have are all tied down by your majesty and now there is going to be a great slaughter, both amongst our own kindred and the other clans, is it not right we save all this blood from spilling?" Chris then asked a very tactful question at the end of the statement.
