Luna Sarah looked upon Old Dawn with approval and pride. Time and time again Old Dawn had proven to be the most loyal and efficient companion of Luna Sarah. No one had carried out orders so perfectly well for her as Old Dawn had done.
Old Dawn was not actually from the Half moon pack. She was married into the pack as a slave of the Luna. It was custom to allow a maid to come along with a princess to the new palace where she is going to get married to and as for the case of Luna Sarah, Old Dawn was given to her and automatically became a member of the Half moon pack.
Old Dawn was given her freedom when she was a hundred and fifty years old. Luna Sarah had the old warden of the female prison executed because she said something that tarnished her name.
