After leaving Rita's quarters, Adam began thinking. What did she say when she answered him? Wasn't it enough to ask for her hand. What more could a young man possibly want?
A few days after Adam's announcement a feast was organized in honour of his marriage. They had invited the whole town and everyone was invited including Adam's parents and sisters along with his brothers, his uncles, his cousin and cousins.
Rita had agreed to attend the celebration, mainly because she had missed the feast. She had always loved feasts and she loved food and alcohol (well, maybe not as much as food and alcohol) so this definitely wasn't a bad idea.
The night had already begun, yet the festivities in the party hall still weren't finished. They had already danced numerous rounds and had even drunk more than usual.
