" My baby ! " I screamed and flew my eyes open.
I looked around and Lucifer was nowhere to be found. I tried callingÀ out to him and on the third call he appeared and hugged me
" Those nightmares again? "
I nodded as a reply.
Am eight months pregnant and for the past eight months have been having nightmares about the birth of my child.
Alicia tried convincing me that nothing shall happen to me and my baby
As both I and Lucifer are very powerful, but I still doubt knowing fully well that my mum won't be happy about this child .
And the fact that my child was destined to kill Lucifer's half-brother troubled me more
" Have some reason, all would be fine okay " he tried convincing me but I could see the worry on his face.
After being marked I and Lucifer shared a special bond.
It was a bond where we both could feel each other's pain, happiness, sorrow, and stress.
and we could also talk to one another without being close.
I went back to sleep with lucifer lying beside me, as I never wanted to be left alone.

Hazel was done showering and preparing for breakfast but she didn't want to step out of her room for some reason.
Alicia her maid was the only one aware of who her husband truly was and could understand hazel's pain and fear.
Lucifer had stepped out for some work and Hazel was left to have breakfast all by herself which she didn't like
" Your Highness breakfast is served " a maid informed and left immediately. Hazel was in no mood for food so she ignored it and went back to combing her hair.
After waiting thirty minutes without the princess's arrival, Alicia decided to get hazel on her own.
" Hazel what's this? " she questioned
Alicia was permitted to call her by her name because Hazel saw her as more of an elder sister than a maid
" Am not hungry "
" Oh no please spare me, you know your husband would feed me to the hungry demons in hell if he finds out I didn't feed you in his absence "

" No ifs or but come on, come and eat "
Alicia went closer and helped her stand up, they had barely taken four steps when Hazel screamed Alicia noticed that she wasn't just screaming because the baby kicked but instead it was because she was in labor
She quickly instructed the maids to prepare the items needed for hazels delivery and news like wildfire spread to the queen's ear.
But before the queen could get to hazel's quarters she had already delivered and there was a sudden outburst of power that alerted the queen and all the magical trap's in the palace
" My grandchild, no ! " she screamed and ran to hazel's quarters with fear that a demon was after her grandchild but when she got there she was shocked by what she saw, she couldn't go into Hazel's room and when she tried there was something like am the invisible shield that would hit her back she mustered all her powers trying to break the shield but the reverse was the case as she was left weak and injured.
After some minutes the shield disappeared and the queen rushed into the room to find hazel lying on the bed and Alicia carrying the newborn child wrapped.
As a tradition, the child is supposed to be blessed by his /her grandmother after birth
so the queen carried hazel's baby but..
" What is this? "
she screamed when she saw that the baby had dark hair mixed with silver
" None of her parents has dark hair so how could this be? "
she asked herself and hazel's baby just smiled at her and her eyes change colors.
out of fear, she dropped the baby but the baby didn't reach the ground instead it was floating in the air while the baby kept laughing
" NO NO NO " she screamed in horror seeing this scene unveil.
Lucifer was in the middle of an important meeting about what to be done to his stepbrother who was just captured and tried escaping when suddenly there was an outburst of light
Others had to close their eyes as it was too bright but it didn't seem to affect Lucifer.
While his half brother couldn't screaming and fell unconscious
" Oyr savior is here," the lady who gave the prophecy said as she stepped into Lucifer's meeting chambers
" Ah ah ah only her birth did this, what would happen when they come in contact? "
Remembering his wife Lucifer teleported back home to find his child floating in the air and the queen in shock.
He rushed towards his baby and wrapped her in his arms.
The queen knew no one was going to tell her what was going on, she tried tapping into her daughter's memory but it was to no avail so
she tapped into Alicia's memory.
when everything became clear, she turned to look at Lucifer and then hazel who had tears in her eyes
" You " was all she could say and
she suddenly raised her hands casting a spell
" I curse this child, before sunset you shall die," she said and Hazel went on her kneels immediately
" Mother please don't do this she's your grandchild how .... "
" She's not my grandchild she's the daughter of my enemy and you...You are a disgrace" she slapped Hazel and pushed her away.
Everyone knew that once the witch queen placed a curse it was impossible to reverse it unless a life is sacrificed
" My baby...give me my baby " hazel said and carried her little daughter
" I princess Hazel bless you, my child, at sunset, I shall die and you would fall into an everlasting sleep until the next morning start is born "
she said and fell to the ground. Tears flowed down her cheeks like a flowing stream without a destination.
Lucifer pulled her to himself in an attempt of scolding her but stopped when he saw the tears rolling down Hazel's face.
She was still bleeding due to childbirth and after blessing her child she slowly started losing strength
" Lu- Lucifer please take care of our little Lucy promise me that you won't take revenge for my death please " she tugged his shirt
" I promise " he replied in pain
" Alicia "
" Hazel am here " Alicia held her hand wiping her tears
" Please take care of my little Lucy and don't let her miss me okay, take her as your child "
"I will and you get better okay " Alicia cried
The queen left without care about the life of her daughter while Lucifer teleported with both hazel and Alicia including little Lucy.
When sunset came Lucy fell asleep and Hazel...
" Sir the prin.... "
" She isn't dead she's just asleep "

" Hazel became half-demon after I marked her, but I fear she won't be waking up anytime soon "

" Making changes to the curse placed on Lucy killed her witch side but her demon side is still alive and would take time to gain total control of her body "
" And how many weeks or months are we talking about?" Alicia asked and Lucifer smiled
" It would take years probably centuries, and maybe forever. But only that little one there can force her to come around"
he pointed to little Lucy who was lying in her cradle beside her mother's bed.
