Chapter 109 - Am I really a monster ?

Ghazan nearly teared up at the sight of what he saw, Zillah covered in blood. All his anger dissipated and he saw an almost dead Zillah looking at him like she would soon die. He quickly ran to her calling out to her before she would cross over to the other side. "Zillah, Zillah look at me". He called her to stop her from running away like she intend to

He couldn't recognize this Zillah, the girl that was humble, beautiful, calm and never looked for anyone's trouble now looked like a raging, fearless goddess, rather than just a facial goddess although she knew she was not in the league of competition.

Zillah could only move back from where she stood when she noticed him coming to her.

Maybe this family is not for her, maybe the title Vimal doesn't belong to her name. She cannot be a member of this bloodline if this was who they were. Flows in their blood the power of an infernal. She doesn't want to be mixed, she wants to fully be a celestial that was who she was and who she accepted not this people.

She spoke softly looking at Ghazan " I can't, I don't want this". This familiar feeling of pain and suffering, watching her parents die and she stayed in loneliness having to suffer then be murdered. She can't continue it here again , where she doesn't even know exactly what it is called or is, other than Elysian and Tartarus.

She looked at Alvah who seemed to have gained his right senses and she uttered, "I don't want to be your partner, I renounce you. I don't care if we are bonded whatsoever that means. We weren't meant to be, I'm okay being lonely after all". Her last statement made her burst in tears before leaving.

Ghazan had never felt overwhelmed with emotions that he nearly cried on the spot. His gaze shot at Alvah who just looked nonchalantly sad at her words, and out of this world.

"In the history of Elysian and Tartarus, never have I heard of a renounce and not in my very before. I am not ready to let her words linger in my head " he pointed at his temple before he yelled at Alvah.

"Go after her!" Alvah looked at him and nodded " I won't. It's best this way for the both of us"

Ghazan nearly lost it hearing Alvah's words. " The Chambers has never made a mistake in pairing spouses with each other. And here you both are renouncing and choosing what's best for you". He walked closer to Alvah, tall and mighty who he is. He spoke authoritatively

"I Empyreal Ghazan Vimal of First Chamber of Air will kill the soul of celestial, Alvah Vimal if he doesn't go after his wife"

The last sentence chocked in Alvah's throat, his wife. Ghazan can understand that Zillah isn't from around here but from earth. Yet she carries out and understands more about what she has no idea of. But Alvah that has the full knowledge of everything that happens in this world would be extincted if he doesn't abide by the rules.

Ghazan could only imagine if he wasn't here, if he had never met Zillah, this is how badly things will turn out between them both.

Alvah who had lost his senses was shivered to his spine as he replayed the entire scenario. He realized that his actions could have caused Empyreal Nova to appear and she will most definitely annihilate him.

He could only thank the heavens for sending Ghazan as a reminder because he had lost his mind.

He chased after Zillah as fast as he could. Zillah on the other side was running endlessly and bleeding profusely at that. She was out of energy that she could not teleport any more. She had to run with her damaged self having no idea where she was headed but not back to Elysian.

Alvah used her blood as a trail and with his speed, he could easily match up to her.

Unbeknownst to her she was running out of breath and her body was failing her she was nearing death. Still with tears in her eyes, blinding her, she lost her vision and she tripped on a lying wood.

She had closed her eyes to crash on her already bruised face when she felt an arm around her scraping the earth as he landed

With her in his arm and her panting tiredly she held his hand came down from his arm and was about to continue running when he held her wrist and dragged her back but before she could hit his chest she supported his pull with her arm and she pushed him back hard.

Since he met her he had never seen how fierce she can be. Turns out she was never weak minded if she set herself to accomplish something. But he was also very strong minded and stubborn at that.

He would call her name but that would only trigger him so he simply started with " let me help you with your wounds then you can run away"

She might remove her ears and fix them back but she heard what she heard and this man was heartless.

She didn't care anyways, all she wanted was to be far away from him as possible not to see him again.

He held her face and walked closer to her caressing her wounds gently and softly and she screeched lightly in pain and it pricked him to the uttermost to see her in pain and he couldn't feel any of that.

Was he insane, how would he damage someone like this, a girl inferentially. He wished he could injure himself as much as he did to her. Now he realized what made her go crazy enough to say ill things about him like that as well. Her anger was justified but his actions towards her were not.

He glanced at her neck and he couldn't even take another breath because she stinked like blood while he was perfectly fine. His face tightened but he composed himself.

He healed her speedily cause he couldn't afford to see her beautiful and angelic face ruined by him. He healed her till there wasn't a scratch or scar on her face except the blood stains.

He went down slowly with her, held her legs and saw the deep claw cut from his own freaking beast.

He groaned in pain for her but took his head backwards, lifting up his head , that was when she looked at him and saw his jaw line from underneath. When he dropped his head back to her legs, he noticed her eyes looking at him and rushed to look back at her and she never averted her gaze on him.

'Am I really a monster? ' Alvah questioned himself deeply, frustrated and down casted. Why am I like this no matter how hard I tried to help myself. Still looking into her eye
