I arrive at the hotel fifteen minutes later and Ken kindly walks me in. He opens a door to a private dining area and I see Storm get up and walks over to me, "Good morning beautiful."
"Good morning," I say shyly, and Storm gives me a quick peck. He takes my hand in his, I feel that electricity again, and we look at each other, Storm whispers, "I feel it too Em." I blush, and he walks me over to the table, "Emily these are the other members, Jill, Dom and Carter," he says pointing to each of them.
"Nice to meet you all," I say politely, they all nod in return.
Jill pipes up, "finally another girl, nice to meet you Emily," Jill says with a smile.
"So this is why Storm is in such a good mood," says Dom.
I blush even more and Storm stares at him coldly, Carter sits laughing, "I'm Carter, you're a looker," a flirt I see.
"Carter don't," is all Storm says, and he backs down immediately.
They are all friendly and we all chat during breakfast, although Storm sits quiet, I figured he's not much of talker. They all seem shocked that I'm studying at Harvard, but definitely love my career choice, since they apparently do alot of charity for kids. They are all so normal for a Rock band.
I excuse myself to the bathroom and Jill comes with me, "I must say I'm glad Storm has finally met someone who caught his attention, he is extremely picky, you're definitely keeper," Jill says quite straightforwardly.
I'm a bit taken back, "thank you Jill, that's really sweet of you to say."
"We had no idea why we had to come a day early, Storm just booked the flight, now we know why and we are fucking delighted." Jill says chuckling.
"Does he not date or have girls around?" I ask prying a bit.
Jill seems quite open and answers immediately, "nope, not as far as we know, women throw themselves at him but he doesn't take the bait, usually has security throw them out or taken away, as you have noticed he isn't much of a talker. The boys joke he needs to get laid, but that's just boys being boys, that is why we are so surprised to meet you, first woman he's ever technically introduced us too." I ant help but blush again, this is crazy.
"I'm just not sure why he chose me," I say honestly.
Jill looks at me concerned, "why not you? You are a beautiful woman, confident, smart and nice."
"I am so far from the popular girls type, I'm more of a loner, quiet myself," I say with a sigh.
Jill crosses her arms, "maybe he senses something in you, must be loner thing," she winks.
We finish up and head back out. He watches me walk to the table, Jill is really sweet, for a hard core rock star.
We all have some coffee and chat some more, Storm gets up and answers his phone, must be on vibrate, "Press? How did they know we are here? Fine we will leave through the back, no pictures of her, I want her privacy respected as long as we can," he says into the phone rather seriously. Storm then turns to me, "Em the press are outside, I will walk you to the back entrance so you can be taken home, Ken is waiting, I will see you tonight?" I nod and he continues, "I have rehearsal so I will text you later." Storm walks me to the back and sees me to the car, and plant's a soft kiss on my lips deepening it a little, he places his forehead on mine, "see you later Em."
I arrive at home, lucky nobody knew me or saw us together, I get home past eleven am and Oli has left for his shift. I fall onto the couch, I can't believe I just had breakfast with The Wicked, Storm is interested in me, flew here early to see me, and we are having dinner tonight. I think I need to go shopping, I need a dress for tonight, I could so use Oli right now, I groan. I will fill him in later, I use Oli's car to go to the mall, I find an amazing store, I buy a black dress, short, low cut V neck, three quarter sleeves, tight fitting, with a broad belt across the waist, it's perfect, I get some stiletto's to go with it.
I decide to get some pizza and make my way back home, I still have a few hours till my date. I check my phone, and I see a message, "Hey beautiful, practice is long and dull, I look forward to seeing you later, sorry about the press this morning, will be by to pick you up at eight."
I reply. "Hey Storm, don't worry about it, it was lovely spending time with everyone and meeting them, I just got back from shopping, try to enjoy practice, your music is amazing, and I can't wait to see you either."
My phone rings, "Mom."
"Hi Honey, we haven't heard from you in two weeks, how is Boston?"
I smile missing her, "going well, my job is perfect, and classes start on Monday," I answer her.
"That's good Honey, any boyfriends yet?" Mom asks with a chuckle.
What? Since when did she care? "No, not yet, will keep you posted, I have to go now, I need to buy a few things and meet a friend for dinner," I say cutting this short.
"Ok honey talk soon, love you." Mom says.
"Love you too, bye." I answer. It's five and I think I am going to take a nap, but first, let me text Oli. "Hey stranger, going out tonight, in case I'm not home when you come back. Yes it's with S, lots to tell you, love you sweet cheeks! xx." I take a nap for about an hour and a half, I wake up, and it's finally time to get ready.
I have a shower and shave, pluck my eyebrows, dry my hair and I decide on bold long curls, a smokey eye with masacara, and a plum lip. I slip on my dress it looks hot, I slip on my sky high stilettos, I'm glad Oli made me get a spray tan last week. I put on minimal jewellery just a black choker and some small silver hoops and a silver and black cuff. I hear the doorbell, ok, it's time, five minutes early. I Smile. I walk to the door, and open it. Leaning with one hand against the wall and a bunch of white and pink roses in the other is Storm, I beam at him, he looks amazing, his black long hair hanging, black ripped jeans, a black shirt and a black dress jacket with a silver chain peaking out of his shirt.
"Good evening babe, you look absolutely stunning," Storm says with his amazing smooth, deep voice.
"You look really good yourself," I answer smiling. I think I see a slight blush on his cheeks, he comes in and kisses me softly on the lips and hands me the flowers, "they are beautiful thank you." I put them in a vase with some water, leaving them on the kitchen counter.
He reaches for my hand and there's that feeling is again, he looks at me smiling, a genuine smile, wow he's so beautiful. We make our way out, and there's a limo waiting, wow. He opens the door for me, I slide in as ladylike as I can. "Emily you really are beautiful," I go beet red.
"Thank you, I have to admit I'm a bit nervous," I say truthfully.
Storm looks at me confused, "why?"
"It's the first time anyone has taken me on a date," I admit sheepishly.
Storm looks at me with a blank expression, "well I'm glad to be your first."
"Not the only first," I whisper under my breath.
Storm looks at me intrigued, "what was the other first?" He asks in amusement.
I take a deep breath and confess, "well if you must know, my first kiss."
He looks speechless, dumbstruck even. Storm opens his mouth and closes it a few times, eventually finding the right words, "you are so beautiful, how is that possible?" Well almost the right words, I shrug, a bit embarrassed, "don't be embarrassed, your innocence is a breath of fresh air." He pulls me closer, and he plants a kiss on my lips and I deepen the kiss and he doesn't resist, well I'm a fast learner.
We arrive at a swanky restaurant cles Mistral, "there's press outside, we will have to use the back entrance," Storm informs me and I nod in understanding.
We have a semi private dining area, "this is a lovely restaurant," I say absent-mindedly as I look around.
Storm smiles, "glad you like it babe." There it is again babe. People are staring, we have two body guards blocking us from view, but we have an amazing dinner, and the red wine is flowing, but he sticks to a coke or water.
"Storm can I ask you something?" I say curiously. He nods, "why me? I'm not exactly the type of girl a famous Rock Star would go for."
Storm looks taken back, but answers. "Why not you? Contrary to belief I don't do the whole one night stand thing and I prefer a woman with a brain. Yes lots of women throw themselves at me, but you, you done the opposite, and when I spoke to you at my party that night, there was something different. I knew I wasn't wrong, I felt that the moment I actually bumped into you. It's like a pull."
I answer, "like electricity."
He smiles, "exactly, I just had to see you again, and I'm glad I did."
"I'm glad you did too." He tells me how he started the band, and how he became famous, they were really young like fifteen or sixteen, and he has been doing what he loves ever since. He doesn't go into too much detail though. We carry on talking and I ask about his family, he looks a bit stoic.
"Well I was adopted as a baby, my adoptive parents were shitty and abusive. My adoptuve father drank, adoptive mother was on drugs, and when I hit sixteen I went on my own and that's when I started the band and you know the rest."
"I'm adopted too," I say in understanding and he looks up genuinely surprised. I carry on, "I too was adopted as a baby, my parents are extremely strict, like religious, if they saw what I was wearing tonight they would probably drag me home, they sheltered me my entire life, I couldn't even drive myself anywhere, but Oli lived across the road and we became friends, if it weren't for him I don't know where I would be today, probably locked up in my room. I have been lucky they were good parents despite being over protective." I say truthfully.
Storm has a naughty smile, "well then, I wonder what they would think about you dating a famous Rock Star."
"Dad would have a stroke," I say jokingly and we laugh, "but he would get over it," I say smiling. We have dessert and some coffee, "I notice you don't drink," I say nonchalantly.
Storm looks a bit hesitant, "no, I have a troubled past, one or two but I don't indulge," he looks scared, like Im going to run away.
I look in his eyes, and say, "you can tell me but if you don't want too, it's ok."
Storm looks like he's wrestling with himself, and finally speaks, "well I had a drug problem, so I don't drink because I would do it when I got high. I'm three years sober, at eighteen I was drugging and drinking trying to numb the pain of my past, and this lifestyle isn't good in that sense. It opens too many doors makes things too easy. I'm a walking cliché."
I take his hand on the table, squeezing lightly," it's amazing that you kicked the habit and that you are doing so incredibly well, in future I won't drink when I'm with you. I'm not a big drinker myself." He smiles at me, and I realize what I said and backtrack, "I'm sorry I meant if we see eachother again." I'm bright red.
So m chuckles, "we definitely will, and it's ok if you drink, it doesn't bother me." Storm gets the bill, and tips well.
I look around and it's a beautiful night, "would you like to take a walk with me? We can go down to the pier, the stars are amazing down there."
He smiles and nods. We head out and there are a few photographers, but I use my jacket to hide my face. We hear people shouting.
"Storm who's the lady?"
"Storm we never see you with a woman who is she?"
"Lucky lady, what's your name?" Storm ignores all of them.
We get into the car, "sorry about that, I just like my privacy," Storm says apologetically.
"It's ok, I understand," I answer and he holds my hand all the way to the pier, it's quiet, nobody around and we take a walk, quietly holding hands and we stop at the end and look over the sound and look up at the stars.
"This is incredible babe," Storm whispers almost not to disturb the ambiance.
"It's become my thinking spot," I say lookin at him.
"It's important to have one," Storm says looking down at me. There's a chill in the air he stands behind me and wraps his arms round me. He smells so amazing. It's a heavenly smell, not overpowering, it smells expensive, fresh, just out the shower smell. I love it. We are against the rail and I turn to face him and I stick my arms under his jacket around his waist, he looks into my eyes, saying softly, "you have the most beautiful emerald eyes."
I blush and look down, he pulls my chin up gently with his thumb and fore finger, he leans down and kisses me, I pull my arms out and wrap it round his neck, he pushes me gently to the railing and the kiss becomes more passionate and demanding a moan escapes me. He pulls me closer, and leans in a bit more, he is so tall thank goodness I'm wearing heels, I feel him stirring against me, he breaks the kiss, "I think we need to get you out of the cold, that dress is quite short," he smiles.
We go back to the limo and we begin the journey home, he puts the partition up and pulls me to his lap, burying his face in my neck. "Storm I have to tell you something," I say mustering up all the courage I can. He reluctantly pulls his head out and looks up at me with those crystal clear blue eyes, he nods as a go ahead. "Well I'm a virgin," there it's out, shit he's going to dump me.
Storm smirks at me, "I figured as much since I was your first kiss and all," he now smiles at me. "No pressure babe, I'm just happy to spend time with you." My turn to smile at him, I cup his face and we start kissing, his hand goes up my thigh, and stops at my hem which at this point is indecently high. He pulls it down a bit. I can feel him under my backs side, a bit excited. "Sorry babe your hot," he says making me giggle.
"You're forgiven." I say playfully.
