The true limiter is the linear nature of stats. Normally a person wouldn't drop everything into STR because they get one shot if they are alone so most builds follow patterns of distribution. 2 VIT, 2 STR, 1 DEX, then 1 AGI alternating. It doesn't matter how hard you swing your axe if you get killed by an arrow.... There will be a lot of levels and the MC will follow a more INT based build ;).
