The days were flying and Ethan had yet to return. Selene and Ivy came a few days ago. Liam's health was improving but Esmeralda was staying at Westburry Estate. Although Selene and Ronan were there to take care of Liam now, she didn't leave as she had promised Ethan that she would be taking care of his brother until he would return. Not just this, she was giving Liam's health report to him every night.
Today, she was standing in her favorite spot on the Estate. The meadows near the horse stables. She would always feel immensely peaceful here, seeing the animals grazing. Not just this, she had befriended a beautiful mare who she named Lizzy. Everytime Lizzy would see Esmeralda she would run to her and rub her face against Esmeralda's hand. It was one of the reason why she liked coming to this place.
It was at this time when Ethan called her.
"Esmeralda."
"Yes?"
"I miss you, "Esmeralda's lips curved to form a smile as she heard him.
