Esmeralda was at the house in the evening reading the script when she saw her phone ringing. It was Violet calling her. She didn't pick up. She was a busy woman. Even if being busy meant eating grapes and lying on her bed. She had a lot on her plate including apples and oranges to finish. The Westburry family could handle the party for all she cared.
You see, if Ethan wanted her there, he would have told her but he didn't say a word which meant her presence was not needed and Violet made clear that it was a very important event for the family and it could be deciphered that her presence was not needed there.
"Mrs Westburry, shall I serve dinner?" Sarah asked.
"Bring it to my bedroom, "Esmeralda said. She was quite occupied, it would be a hassle to go out to eat. After all, she was quite tired.
