"Why do you have to go back?" Hazel asked
It was so late she did not understand why Esmeralda was insisting on returning to her place. She had so many plans for the night. She thought that they would have a sleepover but it seemed like all her plans were ruined now.
"Can't you stay here?" Hazel requested again. She didn't wish to see Esmeralda going. Maybe, it was because these people were babying her too much these days that she was feeling so bad when she was insisting on going.
"Did you guys forget that I don't live here now?" Esmeralda asked.
Amber said, "I don't think Ethan will mind if you stay the night here."
She could see how badly Hazel wished for Esmeralda to stay. Therefore, she decided to try to stop Esmeralda.
"He won't but I won't feel right, "Esmeralda said, "I have to go guys. Take care of yourself."
Esmeralda looked at her sister who was eating and said, "And Ivy, don't put yourself in trouble."
