As Esmeralda and Ethan reached her house, she turned to him and said, "Wait here, I will be back in a while."
Ethan didn't understand what she meant but after a few minutes, he saw her coming with a bag while Hazel and Ivy were coming behind her.
"This is…"Ethan did not know what to say.
"A week is over, "Esmeralda told him. "Did you forget that today is the day I go to your house with you?"
Ethan knew that today was the day but since she didn't talk about it, he didn't mention it as he didn't want her to be forced to leave. He wanted her to do it out of her own will.
"Are you coming with me now?" Ethan asked her.
"Do you want me to bring me with you?" Esmeralda asked him in return.
Ethan said as a matter of fact, "Of course."
Esmeralda held his hand and said, "Then, let's go."
