To say Esmeralda was in a bad mood would be an understatement. She felt as if the universe was plotting against her. She did not have any work today. Maybe, she did but she canceled the schedule of her entire day. She returned to her house. As she came home, she went back to her bedroom. Just as she sat on the bed, tears started falling down her cheeks. She did not know why she was crying. It was just a misunderstanding with Hazel and they would be able to clear it sooner or later but she was acting as if her life was ending.
She was not crying because Hazel was not understanding her point of view, she was crying because she could not see her friend sad like this. Just seeing Hazel crestfallen was enough to break her. The three of them had been together for years. What had they not experienced in their lives? But today seeing Hazel like this broke her heart in the worst way possible.
