"Did you have a talk with Director Owens?" Kate asked as she saw Esmeralda coming towards her. Earlier, she left the two people alone to have the heart-to-heart talk that a director needs to have with an actress regarding the script and production of the film. She could see to what extent Director Owens wanted to cast Esmeralda Fox and she knew that he would do anything to get what he wanted and he always get what he wanted. She would not be surprised to know that Esmeralda was indeed signing the contract for the film. When she saw her coming she knew that she would say yes to the role. After all, it's Director Owen and Kate Smith. And no matter how oblivious Esmeralda seemed to the entertainment industry norms and ways, her agent knew better about it.
"I did," answered Esmeralda. 'He asked me to talk to you about the payment."
"What is there to talk about it?" asked Kate. "Is it not mentioned in the contract that he showed it to you?"
