"Dormis kingdom, space"

"My lord,we have to get out of here",said Rhadi who was a warrior. The city was in great peril. It was located in another planet far away from Earth.Invaders had come to destroy and steal some precious items.

"No", said king Apa. He was the third king in the kingdom of Dormis."we will protect the city to the end . What about those colours? Are they safe ?"

"They won't be if those invaders win this war",said Rhadi. We have to do something about it."

"If the worst comes, hit the safety button", said king Apa." let's us hope in our afterlife that those colours won't bring destruction to the universe at large."

The war continued but the battle lost. The kingdom fell down to ashes but the colours were far away,moving randomly in space

"Olodo town, Ibadan Nigeria"

It was a beautiful morning in the town of Garki. Everyone was rushing to his or her work . The roads were busy and traffic was very high.

"Darn",remarked Tade. He was a guy of about 18 years old ,short and had a dark complexion. He had been using glasses for over two years." It's going to be a long road to school, I just pray we are not late again. I hope this bus is fast and the traffic ease."

"Well," began Tolu. He was his twin brother. They were both identical in every way. Talk about their dress, voice, both using glasses. Everything was identical."I'd thought you set an alarm, we are really going to be late for lectures."

Both were schooling in the Dawnmark University. The first University at olodo town in Ibadan ,Nigeria . It's said to have the highest awards of excellence and sports. Every parents wanted their children to school there. Tade was studying Physiotherapy while his brother was studying Medicine and Surgery. As a first year student,they offered the same courses.

The twin got to school and ran to meet up with others in the lecture theatre. They both found seats beside each other. The lecture started and all students listened to what the lecturer said. While in the middle of the lecture, a notification popped up in Tade's phone.

"Tolu,"said Tade quietly. "I think we have a problem. NASA just discovered an asteriod heading in Earth direction. It's all over the news."

"When is it going to get here?,"asked Tolu without looking at his brother.

" I don't know" , continued Tade quietly. " "It seems it had been known by the government for a while. Who knows how the story leaked out and it seems they are taking action on this matter. From what I saw, it's not that big though it is dangerous if it hit Earth. The consequences would be unfathomable . Let's just see how the day ends. "

"Yeah," replied Tolu." Let's hope for the best."

After some lectures, they were on their way to a canteen when they met Oyin. She was a short girl with a matured mind and a very close friend. The twin respected her so much because of her nice personality. She is studying physiology.

"Hello",greeted Oyin with a smile. "How are you guys doing?"

"Great here", answered Tade grabbing her hand." I didn't know you painted your nails".

"Yeah", replied Oyin shaking her hand off. "I just started and it looks lovely".

"Maybe",said Tolu with a grin." It depends on the colour you use".

"Yeah", replied Oyin. "Well, you guys should treat me to a snack. I'm starving".

"Haha", laughed Tolu. "Fine, let's go inside".

They entered the canteen and order for some snacks and drinks.

"We are going to the Cim cave tomorrow",began Tade. "Care to join us?"

"No thanks", answered Oyin . "I have to make my hair maybe later".

"Who's the lucky guy?"asked Tolu avoiding a smack from her when he said that.

"No one", replied Oyin." I just have to make it". "I am having a program coming up though. I will tell you about it later as the date is not yet fixed".

"Looking forward to that program",said Tade making a wink. "Ah,i'm refreshed a little . That snack came in handy".

"Better",replied Oyin." I know you eat much still you manage to keep your weight".

"You heard about the asteriod stuff right?" asked Tolu moving his seat closer.

"Not really", answered Oyin drumming on the table. "False news. I think it's just in the web to scare people".

"Maybe", replied Tade. "Maybe not. We just have to see the outcome of today".

"I agree with you", supported Oyin nodded her head. "Well guys, I have to go. Thanks for the treat".

"You are welcome", answered Tolu as he watched her leave.

"I just wished News were accurate",said Tade standing up also.

"We just have to wait and see", replied Tolu picking his bag as he stood up.

They went to their hostel hoping the news was all a lie.

"Funny isn't it?" Asked Tolu checking the sky to see any traces of a meteorite or asteroid." If what they said is true,why didn't we see anything here"

"Miscalculation,"joked Tade. "Let's just forgot about it. Nothing happened and we are safe. That's all that matters."

"Yeah, "replied Tolu. "You are right. Don't forget,we are going to the Cim cave tomorrow"

"Gee," exclaimed Tade while preparing his bed to sleep." You are right. Off to bed, don't sleep late and good night."

"I won't," answered Tolu. He took a book to read before putting of the lights. Outside,a ray of light like a shooting star was moving at a high speed and then it disappeared.

Morning came so fast and off the boys went to the Cim cave. The cave was named after Cimray Boland who was said to discover the cave first. It was a place of exclusion to people due to fear of strange spirits but when some kids went in and brought out some olden valuable,the cave was changed to a tourist site which attracted a lot of people.

"Funny to me, "began Tolu while trying to avoid some rocks to prevent him from slipping." It seems we are the only one here. Shouldn't we head back? We have been going into the cave for a while and I am tired of these echos. Let's just.."

"Look,said Tade curiously pointing to a dark corner. Did you see that?"

"What," answered Tolu looking at the direction he pointed to.

"You didn't happen to see a glow there did you?", asked Tade moving towards the dark corner he felt he saw something.

"No,"answered Tolu still looking at his brother. "I think you are hallucinating, let's just get out of..."

He couldn't finish his words because he saw another glow which was be and lasted for a while. Tade moved near the corner and saw two glowing gems,one was yellow in colour and the other green.

"Magnificent," exclaimed Tade." I have never seen anything like this before. Must be some old valuables, it's beautiful. I am taking the yellow gem while you take the green gem".

"Deal,"said Tolu stretching out his hand to pick the green gem. "This is amazing ,I didn't know things like this exists.

"Yeah" , answered Tade taking the yellow gem. "It's exciting and also mysterious."

Suddenly the glow became brighter and brighter till it filled the whole cave .
