Damon was grateful to shield for saving his friend as well. Damon picked up Jolly and headed back to the main floor while randomly choosing a bed chamber and laying Jolly on the bed.
"man he's still out cold." he thinks to himself.
The room was small with blue and white stone colored walls and flooring. it was completely empty with appliances, the only thing in the room was a bed.
"how big is this city." Damon asked as he walked back into the main floor, which was completely white in color with a gold and silver spiraling staircase leading to upper levels. it was baren,there was no furniture at all, not even a single picture,but it was very clean and gave off a royal like vibe.
" My city is the same size of the forbidden forest."
" you mean beast free forest." Damon questioned him while heading up the stairs.
"is that what you people call it, I'm the creator of this forest and it's name is the forbidden forest." shield replies with a tone of annoyance.
" ok, well I was just telling you what my people call it." he responded with a puzzled face wondering if he offended shield by mistake.
Damon took the stairs to the top floor, there were 6 floors from the main floor to the top.
"what's with this place not having any furniture besides beds, and are the buildings throughout the city the same way."
"yes and there is a reason for that, you'll see." shield responded.
"so If you created beast free,uhhh I mean the forbidden forest, then it must also mean you're the reason beasts cannot be summoned or enter it." Damon asked.
"correct." look you can ask questions later, time is of the essence." responded shield.
"ok,ok."
Damon enters the only door at the very top of the castle entering a very big and spacious room. unlike the main floor and the bed chamber jolly was in, this master bedroom wasn't completely empty. it had a fourteen foot long and wide bed with blue silk color sheets with a variety of white and blue pillows. A silver desk was stationed not too far away from the bed with three white wooded book shelves against the wall across from it full of books.
Damon went over to the bookshelves removing and swapping the places of five specific books upon shields instructions.
The three book shelves then merged together turning into a crystalized black door. Once placing his hands on the door, it opened leading into another room, which had two Dark crystalized pedestals side by side. On one of them was an orb glowing and producing a blue hue while on the second one was an egg the size of four bowling balls put together. The egg 🥚 was Obsidian black, gold with blood orange patterns all over it.
Damon placed one hand on the orb and the other on the egg at the same time.
Suddenly the orb and egg disappeared from the room with a colorful flash. a transparent blue screen appeared in his line of sight at the bottom right corner of his eye.
Ding! you have been granted permission to the System. the word read on the screen.
"The system has detected two different sources of power within you that are partially connected. fusing both power sources together to complete the partial connection now.
"what the." is the only thing Damon was able to say before an unbearing pain racked his head rendering him unconscious on the floor.
Around 10 minutes later Damon was waking up with a loud sound in his ear.
Ding! The fusion of powers has been completed.
Demon energy storm clouds and rain fall have been merged with natural external ki successfully.
Natural External ki affinity lighting/thunder has been reawakened and has merged with Demonic energy successfully.
internal ki has been successfully mixed with demonic energy.
Demonic ki has been created, user can now use Demonic energy as internal and external ki.
Damon was at a loss for words, as he sat there with his mouth dropped to the floor in shock.

Ignoring his current status in power Damon eyes went back up after reading and locked on and hovered over his race.
" according to my race The rain and clouds are the only powers I'm supposed to have. and what about this Demonic ki, how can I be part Demon, this makes no sense." Damon thinks to himself while grabbing his head in confusion with both hands.
"Part Demon how, how can I, I, thought all that god, demon, and angel stuff was just a fairy tale. "aren't demons supposed to be the bad people."
"pull yourself together ki user, having the power of a demon means nothing, it all depends on what you use that power for." do you think the boy who almost killed you is a demon shield asked Damon.
"what no, well in a sense he is, like he's a bad person."
"being a bad person doesn't make you a demon." Shield responded, but metaphorically speaking many people would consider that boy taylen a monster with the way he loves to harm others for his own reasoning."

"trust me I've known many people in my time with a soul like Taylen's, in his head his actions are right,his beliefs,his goals, no matter if he's wrong in the whole worlds eyes, he will always be right in his own eyes, now thinking that way isn't necessarily a bad thing, depending the person."

With Shields words Damon could understand what he meant, so what if he's part Demon, he's still Damon,he still have goals,a life to pursue, a best friend to be a best friend to. he decided to not care about being part Demon and made a vow to actually embrace his Demon power.
with that he decided to test them out,he understood that his natural external ki was the lighting and the rain and storm clouds were originally his cursed power,which actually is Demonic power. the system fused them together with his ki resulting him being able to use the demonic energy as ki by creating a bridge in-between birthing a new form of ki called Demonic ki.
Damon felt it would be the same as using regular ki, in which he was right.

In seconds a small electricity ball generated in his hand, Damon's eyes glowed with excitement.
"so this is my power." Damon whispered to himself so amazed.
Damon didn't get a chance to savor the moment he managed to obtain external ki, the moment he did, he lost his ki all together becoming completely powerless.
"why does this ki feel heavier, even using it internally." Damon thinks to himself after dispersing the bluish purple electric ball.
From what he could remember the electricity color had changed, now it was light blue with a dark purple core pulsating, circulating with the electricity.
" wait." Damon says slapping his head. It's Monsoon, Monsoon is the Demon that's a part of me. that feeling and pressure I felt when hearing his voice,the pressure I'm feeling using this Demonic ki, that pressure visiting my subconscious space. it's him, he's beyond the hundreds and sixty five meter range." Damon says somewhat frantically coming to a realization.
"well done ki user,it took you long enough, and you manage to figure it out without asking questions." shield says uncaring and sarcastically.
if damon could see shield, he would be cutting his eyes at him right now with those remarks.
"I had an idea that you didn't know who you truly were." so I take it that your friend doesn't know his true self neither...very interesting."
"what do you mean is he the same as me."

"how do I do that." A sharp pain surged through Damon's neck for five seconds. Arrg ! what the hell was that.
" that was me, you ask too many questions, figure it out yourself, I sense you have a good mind for observation, why don't you use it. Shield spoke.
"so you can hurt me." Ahhhh shit " the pain comes back for ten seconds this time.
"What does it look like,now enough with the questions for now and figure it out." shield says
"Man you sure aren't a people person." Damon says while rubbing the back of his neck.
"honestly many of you humans can be seriously irritating." shield retorts.
Damon closes his eyes and searches within himself and immediately sees twelve soul cores. " twelve soul cores I thought I was supposed to have one."

hmmmm! " one of the nine soul chambers are occupied it seems."
thinking back to how jolly and other awakened souls would release their soul beast Damon decided to give it a go. " soul Release chamber one he says opening his eyes.
a purple light materializes in front of him, the same egg that was in the hidden room appeared, the egg shook violently and began to crack.
soon after emerging from it was a five feet long snake like beast, around a half a foot and width. the eyes were yellow with a slight orange tint,the beast head was the size of a big grapefruit, it had four small horns on his head curving backwards towards its tail, they were four inches long. the beast was obsidian black with gold spikes running down its back all the way to his tail the scales beneath each Spike was blood orange and as well as it's underbelly the basilisk slithered up Damon's leg and wrapped it's lower half around his lower waist like a belt and it's upper half rested on the left side of Damon's back with his head on Damon's shoulder.
"man you're pretty heavy even though you're not that big. The Basilisk looks at Damon and nods." smart too I see, let's take a look at what you can do, oh my damn, this is amazing.
