I am definitely cursed. If I wasn't, I wouldn't be so alone and where I am in my life. Being a part of the Throne Pack is not easy. However, being the outcast of the pack is a fate I wouldn't wish on anyone. Okay, that's a lie, there are many people I would wish it on.
I have lived in this pack for 15 out of 20 years of my life and have never had a day off. I was never allowed to make friends and was trained to be just like a maid. I was told that my parents died in a rogue attack and had me sent to the nearest pack. Little did they know that the nearest pack was the shittiest pack on earth. I just wasn't that lucky that day. Considering I wasn't killed that day, I fell left behind
I hit the snooze button on my old digital alarm and check to see if I have overslept.
"06:50"
Wow, not a minute too late. I get up and change my grey pyjamas into my black leggings and grey hoodie that I must wear. Oh and don't forget the tattered white apron.
"06:55"
Five minutes left. I straighten out my duvet and line it up neatly on my single bed. I quickly fold up my pyjamas and place them in my drawer. I grab my worn black trainers and slip them on. Next, I tie up my hair into a high ponytail using 3 of my hair ties to secure my thick jet black hair up.
"06:59"
I quickly race to the kitchen and wait by the sink for the pack housekeeper and the rest of the staff to enter. I hear the clack of high heels and straighten up before they step foot in the kitchen.
"Good morning Madame Jeanne"
I bow in her direction keeping my eyes on her navy heels trying not to make any sudden movements that she may consider " provocative" and land me in another punishment.
"Get to work" she sneers after a short pause and directs the staff to start on breakfast for the occupants of the Thorne Packhouse.
I head quietly to the small broom closet and grab a bunch of cleaning items and remove them from the dank closet. The staff bustle around me shooting dirty looks at me while giving me sharp elbow nudges. But all I do is ignore it. Sure, I get angry at their abusive behaviour but all I can do is tolerate it, or I just use one of my daydreams to dissipate the anger.

The mess that was all over the house was extremely messy and ridiculous. How can 50 people make such a mess in less than 24 hours? I do wonder how they would survive without cleaners or staff.
I sense a tingle of power emanating from the door so I turn around. I see Alpha Ryder and Alpha Samantha and quickly bow my head. Alpha Ryder makes a quick "get back to work" gesture with his hand and I turn back around, continuing with my cleaning. As I continue to clean, I notice that they are just watching and after a couple of minutes, Alpha Ryder starts to whisper some things to Alpha Samantha. But he isn't too quiet about it.
"I've been thinking, Is there any use of keeping her here? She can work but we already have a bunch of staff for that. She has literally lived here free off-charge for years. We might as well make her a rogue and toss her to the Lucid pack and have Alpha Alexander deal with her" at this, I tensed and they could tell.
Alpha Alexander, also known as the Savage Alpha, is the alpha of the Lucid pack, one of the 5 top-ranking packs in the world. It is rumoured that he lost his daughter in a rouge attack and has developed a brutal temper.
Any rogue who has trespassed on his land would be tortured brutally before being left to die. That alpha has one of the hottest tempers, that is how his pack became so powerful. He has a no-nonsense attitude that many alphas admire. One that I admire as well. We are quite similar in our temper.
"Yes, that would be perfect" Samantha says with an evident smile on her face. "Then she wouldn't be such a burden"
They start to chat about the warrior training as I hear their voices fade. Good, they are gone. I finish wiping the counters and walk back to what I call a room. I lie down and contemplate my choices while fiddling with my ruby red silver ring. Don't think it is actual silver though cause I would have harmed myself.
Either, I let them toss me to the "Savage Alpha" or I become a rogue and find a new pack. Time to ditch that shit hole. I have always wanted to travel all over the world and see new places that aren't full of werewolves considering that I have never seen nor met any human or any other supernatural species.
Well, better find a bag and pack. I reach into the cleaning cupboard and find an old duffle bag in the corner. Perfect.
After completing my evening rounds, I run over to the field to see if there are any wolves still training. Empty, great.
