"You don't think I'm that stupid do you?" I said. There was no answer or sign of response. "Why are you ignoring me?"
Again, there was no response. I let out another sigh as I was frustrated with the person.
"Lapsus Alis." I then heard a thud from behind me. The person then tried to run. Anyone who is inside or within a fifty-thousand-mile radius cannot teleport. "Interclusi Vestigio." No more footsteps could be heard, only heavy breathing.
I got up from my chair and turned around to see who it was. I stood near the table while looking at the person. I let out another sigh. A person who was shorter than me by around five inches wearing a dark robe and a hood that covered their head.
"Who are you?" I asked. The person tried to turn their head to meet my face but they couldn't as my magic was too strong. "Elef Therosi." The person dropped to the ground holding their stomach while breathing heavily.
"You…bas…tard…"
"After I just spared you?" I said. "Vasanistrio."
The person screamed in pain. A feminine scream. A smile slowly crept on my face and then faded. I then stopped my spell and the woman looked more willing to listen to my commands.
"Take the seat opposite mine. We can play chess while we talk." The woman agreed to my demands and we started the game of chess. "So answer my question, who are you?"
The person took off their hood.
"My name's Aesira Viryarus."
The woman was attractive. She had pointed ears which reminded me of a girl I once knew. The woman had a serious expression on her face and she seemed like the type that was always serious. Her long gold hair reflected light however it looked as if she wasn't even an assassin. Her blue eyes didn't show a hint of bloodlust, instead, they looked like this person has never seen anything traumatic or that she has so much trauma that all she knows is to accept things as they are.
"Your name is elven and your hair and eyes tell me you're human. You're a hybrid aren't you?" I asked but I didn't wait for an answer. "A dual…no…a tri-elementalist as well." Aesira was stunned by the amount of information I had gotten from only her name and appearance.
"How-"
"How did I find that out? It's simple once you know the difference between each race than by using that to connect the dots you can find out anyone's race."
"Any more questions?" Aesira asked. She didn't seem to like having to answer questions.
"I don't have any more questions. I already know what I want to know."
"What do you mean?" Aesira looked confused as if this has never happened to her. "Was my name and race the only information you wanted?"
"No. I only asked you that for a different reason. I've already figured out that Archryos sent you however he went by a different name didn't he?" Aesira opened her mouth to speak but I didn't let her as I continued. "Dark purple hair, purple eyes, and a dark robe which is usually worn by commoners, that's who told you my whereabouts and how to kill me."
"How-"
"I'm not finished, Aesira. You don't strike me as an idiot so you did know something was wrong didn't you?" Aesira didn't seem to deny it. A person like Aesira would try to deny it to some degree. Perhaps she had an ulterior motive such as saying the truth but also mixing it with lies so they are believable. "A commoner with enough money to order an assassin to kill someone in the Grand Duke's manor and the fact that you entered my room without no one knowing means that you are no normal assassin."
Aesira sighed before speaking.
"He did warn me—"
"You don't need to finish that sentence, I already know what you're going to say and I do know that you knew about it." I had interrupted Aesira many times now and it doesn't seem to affect her in the slightest. Her acting skills were certainly abnormal. "You knew that he wasn't who he said he was, after all, he is a cautious man. That wasn't Archryos, I am sure of it. It was definitely someone of higher status."
"Higher status? Like who?"
"I don't have to spell that out for you, Aesira." Once again she didn't deny it. "Aesira, how about we work with each other?"
"Am I not your enemy?"
"An enemy has more to give than friends so what do you say? Join me in defeating the sovereigns."
"Are you capable of defeating them?" Aesira doubted.
"You doubt my power?" I asked.
"Well no but those guys are on another level."
It was true that the emperors were leagues above me in power and strength however I am confident that I will be on par with or surpass their level.
All I need is time.
"Demons, elves, humans, dwarfs, giants, and the Asura: six monarchs shouldn't be too hard."
Aesira didn't believe that I could take on six monarchs.
"How will you fight against them? They all have their own armies and the dwarfs and giants have been conquered by the demons."
"An army of that size won't be a problem in the future. The key to success is patience." I advised Aesira to believe in me as I am the only person she has that's helping her. "Have patience, Aesira, you will have your revenge."
Aesira's eyes brightened.
It wasn't hard to figure out that her parents were killed in the last war. She must've lost all her family members and the only kingdom that could be a candidate for her family's death is the demons.
"Oh but there's a catch." Aesira's eyes darkened as a sinister smile slowly appeared on my face. "I'm sure your lifeless parents and grandparents would look down upon you for not protecting your brother."
"What…what do you mean?"
"It's simple to understand you know." I explained. "Your brother will be tortured if you betray me even once."
"DON'T FUCKING TOUCH HIM!" Aesira yelled as she banged the table causing her king to fall on its side.
"I won't as long as you obey me." I said calmly. My expression returned to the usual expressionless face. "Tell me everything you know about this world." Aesira looked confused but obliged as she knew the cost of not obeying.

"Levantes, it's been a week already and you only have less than two months left." Socrates said.
I was going to attend an academy in this world in two months however, there are powerful beings who are hunting me because of my background. As soon as they find out my whereabouts then I would most likely be killed with my current strength.
I got up from the ground with dust covering the tailcoat Socrates gave me. I held the wooden katana in my hand and conjured magic with my other. I then charged at Socrates, fusing the mana with my katana. Socrates threw a ball at me, I dodged it and the ground below me disappeared.
I couldn't use flying magic so I had to improvise. I blew the wind in the opposite direction of me so that I was being levitated by it which is the closest I can get to flying. I replicated the same ball Socrates had thrown at me and threw it at him. Socrates dodged it with ease however it multiplied and each time it hit something it multiplied again, infinitely.
Soon the training ground was gone and it looked like a colossal meteor has hit the planet. I then stopped multiplying and created a type of domain. The balls were all equally apart from each other and soon an illusion was created. Socrates then snapped his finger and the balls were crushed. I then saw the remains of the balls fall to the ground.
So…slow…
I gripped my katana and controlled my breathing. I saw the shards fall even slower and the number of openings Socrates had. I could visualise all the possible outcomes and I had made up my mind and chose the most successful outcome.
I found myself dodging all the pieces of the balls so that I wouldn't be destroyed by my own creation. I was then at a decent distance from Socrates. I twisted my body and hit Socrates's nape. I thought I had finally won but the katana broke.
Socrates then slowly moved his head in my direction.
"You pass for this lesson." He said before conjuring a spell in his fist and punching me. The impact sent me out of the planet. I was then hit by another planet.
"Motherfu—"
