"I need your help."
I stopped slurping my noodles. I was shocked by my friend sudden request. Farik looked at me with a serious face. I bite the noodles and quickly chewed it.
*Cough*cough*cough* I hit my chest lightly a few times before drinking a glass of water.
"It is rare for you to ask me for help."
"Yeah. I actually don't want to ask you for help but ummm this matter will solve easily and without a mess with your help."
"Ah...y-yeah. So, what is the help I have to give?"
"Help me get rid of an Alchemist."
"If it is a normal Alchemist, I think you can get rid him easily."
"Yeah of course I can but this guy. How do I say this? He is like can't be kill by me."
"Is he that strong?"
"No, he is not that strong.*Sigh* I made a blood pact with him."
"A blood pact? This is my first time hearing about a blood pact from you."
"Yeah this is a long time ago when I have just started as Alchemist. We are under the same master. Our master at that time is kind of strict. My master made me into doing a blood pact with him to prevent us from fighting each other. We were supposed to break the blood pact after finishing our tutelage but he ran away before it."
"So, he is not a complete Alchemist?"
"He is a complete Alchemist. Our tutelage just a bit different from other Alchemist."
"What is his Attribute?"
"He has Snow Attribute. He can create blizzard and snow storm."
"So his specialty is environment manipulation. Hmmm. I can take your request and as usual the payment depend on the information I got on him."
"Thank you. About payment you can tell me later how much. I'll absolutely pay for it no matter expensive it is."
"I have a question. Why do you want to get rid of him?"
"Lately, I have been hearing news from a lot of Alchemist that he has been making trouble. He has been going around freezing clean water resources all over The Circle. He also has been attacking a few Alchemist without any reason. Some of them have died. They heard he said that he want to kill one of the Colours to prove himself."
"So you want me to get rid of him before other Colours kill him?"
"Yes, if they kill him they might found out about the blood pact and use it against me."
"So I'm chasing time. Do you know his whereabout right now?"
"Yeah he is mostly moving here and there but he stays frequently on the western district."
"The western district is barren. There are people living there but the condition there is bad, really bad. Most of the people there are people who don't like the development at the Outer. Criminals gather there. It will be quite hard to fight him there."
"I can lure him out. I can lure him to here the southern district. I know the Colous he want to kill is me."
"But he also can't kill you. So will he hire some people to try and assassinate you?"
"No he will not. The reason he is traveling around for a long time is to find a way to kill me himself without violating the blood pact."
"He is absolutely scheming something. Well we will not know anything about it unless I start my investigations. I will take the request."
I shook hands with Farik before continue eating my noodle. We stopped talking to each other because we were so focused on eating the delicious spicy soup noodle.
