It wasn't too far as they walked through the dark streets of London, not too far at all. The sounds of people making deals with drugs in the alleyways, cars being driven along the streets far downtown.
The moon a different color as it eerily hovered in an orangish hue in the sky.
Nothing else seemed to be threatening except humans themselves, as they were always murdering or robbing someone at this time of night.
"This is it..."
Yohana muttered.
The two stopped by an old five story apartment building that was located between a pizza shop and a clothing shop, now Malfroy opening the door.
"Let's make our way inside."
Malfroy was the first to step in, however once he did, he was surrounded by floating spirits that hovered afloat in the air, making ghoulish sounds out of an nightmare.
"Damn, there's so many spirits. They have yet to move on from Physical reality and wish to stay in it even longer."
Yohana looked around him seeing these spirits soon as he stepped into the apartment building as well.
"Yes, they wish to not depart, clinging onto memories of their life and loved ones. Some are poltergeists while others simply wishes to protect their family they have left behind."
The angels wings had fluttered, now expanding side to side.
"I will exorcise them."
Yohana was in his battle mode, materializing his holy weapon, as a large mace.
"Yohana, put that down. These spirits can by exorcised by an actual priest that has spiritual awareness. As things are now you'll just be taking away a good spot for good pay."
The Angel blinked a few times, baffled—
"Priest...?"
Malfroy looked back at him with an frustrated expression.
"You're an Angel but you have no knowledge on what a priest is?"
Yohana twitched in his eye.
"I am not associated with Mortal concepts, I only know what my god tells me."
Malfroy turned back around and approached the stairs, proceeding to walk up them.
"He's no longer your god Yohana, remember that. If you don't even know what a priest is, then I'm assuming God doesn't care much about them either."
The stairs creaked in the rundown apartment exterior, showing it's old and wonky designs that dates back dozens of years ago.
Malfroy reached for his holster to now grab his gun, proceeding his way through the second floor, and in search for the spirit Jonathan.
Yohana would instead fly up to the second floor with his wings flapping, rather than walking.
"Then tell me Malfroy, what is a priest and what is their purpose?"
Yohana gently levitated above the second floor, following Malfroy in his steps.
"You've heard of the four worlds haven't you Yohana? I'm assuming you haven't, because you seemed surprised once I mentioned the four world eyes."
Malfroy stopped right next to an apartment door, having the number twenty six laid upon its exterior.
"There's the physical world, a place where humans exist and the physical aspect of reality, then there's the Inner-dimension, a dimensional plane that's only located in one's soul. In this Inner-dimension it's only obtainable through meditation or death, allowing them to become their astral-self, and journey through their Inner-dimension to find their core, the place where memories and their history exists, as well as their future. Once they obtain the core as their astral-self, they become unbound by fate of the gods and omniscient of the gods since their core no longer exists in a gods authority but their own."
Yohana's expression shown utter confusion.
"I never knew that… so what you're saying is inside this Inner-dimension of the soul, if their astral-self goes onto a journey to obtain their core, they can manipulate it how they please, and take it from a gods authority? Now using their own authority over the core?"
Yohana caught on quickly, his wits wouldn't be something to throw out the window.
"That is indeed what I'm saying Yohana."
"AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!"
They both looked to the apartment door they stopped next to, Malfroy proceeding to bust down the door with nothing more than a kick.
"…Are those…?"
Yohana froze once his heavenly eyes gazed upon the room.
"Demons…?"
He answered his own question in disbelief, seeing how the spirit Jonathan was captured by two small imps from hell, his body pinned to the ground.
*BANG* *BANG*
Rounds fired from the revolver Malchut, bullets driving themselves through both of the creatures skulls, killing them instantly.
"Help me please! Take these off my wrists!"
Jonathan struggled as he laid upon the floor, bounded together by spiky ropes that pierced his astral body.
"Jonathan, are you alright?!"
Malfroy quickly moved, putting away his pistol and crouching over the young man.
"Yes I'm fine… but did you really come to save me Malfroy?"
Malfroy untangled the ropes with nothing more than brute strength, throwing them to the side.
"Yes I have, your mother and I are close friends. Why would I let her child pass on into a miserable place when you can experience eternal peace?"
Jonathan pushed himself up with his hands, sitting onto his knees.
"Thanks Malfroy… it means a lot. Mother always feared I would go to Hell. My lifestyle and my choices… all I done was love another man, but I also provided and shown support of the community. It's just… unfair."
Malfroy reached over to grip Jonathan's arm.
"You must toughen up, you cannot let your head fall. Death is only the beginning for Astral-beings, and as of now you have a chance to enter the spiritual plane."
Yohana behind them both would stare at Jonathan, his eyes piercing…
"I see the problem now. I was too late to guide Jonathan to the afterlife, so one of the gods must've sent demons to collect his soul instead, proceeding to send him to his eternal resting place from his life choices."
Malfroy stood up now, pulling Jonathan's arm along with him.
"Remember how we spoke about the four worlds Yohana?"
Malfroy glanced at the Angel.
"What of it…?"
The God hunter would place his hand upon young Jonathan's head now, pulling him closer.
"I mentioned two main worlds, the physical world and inner-dimension of the soul. There's two more I missed. Returning back to the topic we had of the priest; They are able to send poltergeists or clinging spirits into the Spiritual world, the realm of the afterlife. Many other realms exist in the spiritual world as well, based on one's belief. For Christianity it's heaven and hell, for Japan it's Yomi, and etc."
Malfroy stared up at the ceiling.
"But they all have laws depending on which you follow and choose to believe in. For example: if you believed in the Christian god more than the others, then you're bound to the laws and rules of the Christian Bible, meaning you have to follow its rules absolutely, or either you'll be sent to hell."
Young Jonathan's eyes gazed upon the ground in sadness…
"My belief is associated with the Christian God… I see why I was being sent to hell now."
Malfroy sighed to himself, closing his eyes.
"Yes, it's the laws of the afterlife Jonathan, there isn't a damn thing you could do."
Yohana had his weapon dematerialize, crossing his arms now.
"So the Spiritual Realm… it must be where the gods also exist…?"
Malfroy chuckled.
"Hahaha, yes. Indeed it's where they exist, in a higher plane of reality. There's a rank of gods Yohana. Let's start off with the intermittent Gods. These are the ones who are solely based on religions and are the ones who rule over their own realms associated with them and their religion. Example, the one who's known to rule hell is lucifer, thus he'll be an intermittent God. After that are the Chief Gods, ones who rule over important concepts of the world, such as money, strength, power, and life, and etcetera."
Malfroy raised his finger to the ceiling.
"But after that are the highest gods, called the Sephirot. They exist even above the Fourth world in their own plane of existence, and I have killed one…"
Yohana's eyes suddenly struck with utter puzzlement, as well as Jonathan's.
"You've… killed one?"
Yohana was barely able to wrap his head around what was said, the Angel proceeding to be lead down a path of uncertainty.
"That's impossible… but how?"
Malfroy reached into his holster and wielded his revolver once more.
"This weapon is one of the gods themselves, their name in the Sephirot was Malchut."
Yohana staring at the revolver was starting to understand it slowly…
"That's why it was able to kill me. Despite an Angel being un-killable unless their Lord wishes for it, this revolver can still kill me with relative ease."
The Angel stared up into Malfroy's reddened eyes.
"Who are you really, Malfroy the God hunter? And where do you come from?"
Yohana questioned Malfroy with an uncanny look upon his face.
Jonathan didn't understand the first thing of the afterlife or even angels, thus he was baffled as ever, proceeding to step backwards a few feet.
"Fumu. You ask that now Yohana? You should've been asking that when we first met."
The two stared at each other, the eerie sounds of ghoulish spirits heard downstairs.
"No man should have the power to pose as a threat to even the Sephirot. After what you told me, and if it is true, the Sephirot is more powerful than my own god! You possessing power to defeat one is ludicrous!"
Yohana summoned forth his mace once more as it was crafted from the holy light.
"A being like you shouldn't exist upon this world!"
Yohana's mace began to gather immense holy energy into the entire thing, space even ripped apart around it.
"Looks like I'll have to put you in your place once more Yohana."
