Aryan got up early as usual, going down to prepare for breakfast after getting fresh, he realised Tara was already awake, and also seemed to have had a bath! She was seated at the dining table, and seemed to be waiting for him!
He with surprise reached her as he put his hands in his pockets, "Rare morning!!" he greeted!
Tara smiled, "And let me help you make it even more rare!!"
"And how's that by the way?!"
"By helping you make breakfast!!" she winked!
Aryan smiled, "Interesting!!"
"But.... where's your cute puppy?! Aren't you bored without him?!"
"He is tired, having rest! Would you mind being a time pass?!"
"My pleasure it is!!" he said nodding his head with brows raised!
Tara chuckled and just like that, they both prepared breakfast together, him again being careful with her hands which weren't healed yet, and once they were done, she returned to her room to check on Snoopy while he took time to place the dishes on the table!
Aryan shook his head as he saw her coming down the stairs with him in her arms, here she goes again!!
Why was she making him feel jealous, in the most unexpected way, with that creature which was probably a gift from him?!
Aryan got seated and waited for her to join him along with her puppy, rolling his eyes, he already started having his meal which made her chuckle!
"Won't you help me have mine?!" she asked with her that puppy eyes which was new as well! Well she decided to tease now!! Alright, why not play along?!
"If you get time to let me!!" he reminded with a chuckle!
Tara chuckled, looking down her pet as she caressed it, "Your father seems to be jealous of you!!"
His brows raised, what did she say?! "Father? Me?!"
"I surely was referring to you Mr.Waqt!!" she said looking up at him now!
He still looked at her with the same expression which made her shook her head, "You brought him, you probably are his father!!" she said with a smile!
"And who are you?!" he asked after nodding understandingly!
"I'm caring him! Who else would do that rather a mother?!" she said with a smile again as her hands again caressed it which it now seemed to like, as it gave a vigorous shook of head before resting against her stomach! Tara chuckled as she looked down at him before she glared back at Aryan who saw her with a raised brow now, as of considering what she said!
Tara blinked hesitatingly before she nodded nervously saying, "Only for him!!" , just saying that she pulled her cutlery forward to have but Aryan was quick enough to pull it towards him!
"Let me help you!" he said looking down, Tara just let him do as a smile lit her face! Aryan helped her have her meal while later she watched him have his, in silence!
"Don't stare me! It's suffocating!!" he blurted without even looking up at her, his head down the entire time!!
"You should have known better than doing that yesterday then!!" she smirked!
His hands halted, he wasn't shunned, not completely atleast! "I.... couldn't help!!" he blurted again, now being paused!
"Me, neither!!" she said with a widened smile, before even he could say anything, she asked him out making him now glare up at her, "Would you like to go out with me?!"
Well, that came by surprise for Aryan and so was he paused to even answer her! He took a moment to think, what was she upto?! She better not chose to tease him again, "Why-not?!" he said with shrug of doubt and nervous as he continued to have his meal, without looking up at her anymore! Cause he was thinking on what was behind this now, was it just her being casual and him overly thinking?! It could be!!
While Tara couldn't help but smile at his reaction, not wanting to make him feel suffocated anymore, she looked down at Snoopy, and decided to let him have his breakfast as well, and that was when Aryan spoke something almost in a whisper, again continuing to keep his head down!
"Is he going to join as well?"
She was curious, was this really happening?! "Why do I feel like you envy him?!" she asked out of curiosity!
"And how do you expect me to react? Of course I would, cause it doesn't treat me the way it does to you!!"
Tara was taken aback, was it that way?!
"He doesn't even let me touch him while he stays in your arms with all the comfort!!" Aryan scoffed!
In that way, shouldn't he envy her instead the innocent puppy?! "He will not stay home alone!" she said calmly!
Aryan said no more as he decided to just complete his meal so that they could follow up their plan, well hers! While in the mean time, she let Snoopy have a bowl of milk!
She told him places she used to visit as a kid, with her parents, and Aryan took her to all of those places! As it was rural area, there weren't much of places to visit! But she did have some in head already!! Very insignificant places like small stores, specific places on streets!
She just made him stop with no reason, getting off, spending some time, roaming in the streets for few moments until she decided to move to the other ones! Aryan felt the contentment within, she was beginning to feel everything she once decided to seal within completely!
Tara reached a small restaurant as he drove her, she rushed inwards with that little thing in her hands, while with a shook he followed her! It was afternoon already, yet she wasn't tired enough to return home!
Tara as soon she entered searched for someone and his gaze wavered around as well! The place wasn't much crowded, empty, but he could smell the aroma of dishes, delicious!!
But he was curious of whom was her eyes were searching for!
"Grandma!!" she called out which came to him by surprise!!
Aryan waited for someone to appear, but no one did, and so she tried calling for again, and this time, an old lady came out of one room which seemed to be the kitchen! He assumed!
As the old woman who seemed to be in her seventies or eighties tried to acknowledge who it was, Tara smiled looking at her while Aryan took a brief look at her!
She was in casual wear, hair white, her face was of few wrinkles and her skin looked pale, a long white cloth wrapped around her waist, she seemed to have been busy cooking!
"Who's it?!" she asked!
"You forgot me?!" Tara exclaimed as she reached her!
Aryan followed, and witnessed explaining her about herself! She disclosed that she used to come here when she was a kid, with her parents! And they are the one's residing at the castle in the forest!!
And so, the lady soon recognised her and embraced her, his brows raised, they were close he see!
"You've grown up!!" she commented, Tara just smiled, and so did her gaze then fell on him who was stood with his hands inside pockets! "And who's this young man?"
Tara exchanged glances with him, there was a clear silence of hesitation, while he looked ahead for what would she say!
The woman saw her suddenly going hesitant and nervous, with a pause she tried to guess it herself! "Uhm....betrothed?!" she asked with a smile!
They both were surprised to hear it as their gaze now settled on her! Looking at each other for a brief moment again, they looked back at the woman, Tara shook her head almost vigorously! "You mistook it grandma!!" she explained!
"He is not!" she corrected but hesitated again as the woman frowned looking at her, "He is..... someone important!!"
The woman just looked at them in silence unknown whether if she was right or assumed wrong, but soon shoving off the thoughts, she greeted the man with a smile which he returned before she returned her gaze to Tara! "It's been ages since I saw you the last time! How are you?!"
Tara with a smile replied her while he just watched them in silence, she then had them seated while getting in to get something for them to eat, while in the mean time, Tara explained who she was!
When she was a kid, she often used to visit here with her parents, and this lady was friendly enough to get close to her and her parents! There were moments when the woman cared for her though just with her gentle words, and caress! Her parents liked the lady as well, and seeing her still remember those things made Tara happy!
The woman returned with few dishes, and as she placed, Tara invited her to join as well, and so the lady did, while both the women shared the talks, Aryan sat silent, not knowing what to do! Until the elder woman's gaze fell on him!
"Seems like he doesn't speak much!" she commented, making Tara look at him in a feeling he couldn't quite identify as of what!
"I-I...." Aryan cleared his voice, "Food is good actually!!"
Tara chuckled while the woman shook her head at him with a smile!
Soon there was a customer and so the woman had to leave them alone, and now as she continued to eat, his gaze was fixed on her!!
"Now why do you stare me?!" she questioned raising up her head, facing him!!
"I am wondering!" he breathed, his hands now resting on the table as he leaned forward, "Why were you hesitating to tell who was I?!"
Tara blinked, her grip around the spoon loosened until it lay in plate lazily!
He looked at her as if waiting for an answer rather demanding, while she glared him in silence!
"I'm waiting!!" he reminded in a whisper!
"Do you really want to know?!" she asked instead!
Aryan frowned as he gave her a slight nod, and she now leaned forward as well with a deep breath!
"Let me ask you the same! Who am I to you?!"
Aryan's gaze wavered before he blinked, but before even he could say anything she continued!
"Patient?"
"Friend?"
"Schoolmate? Classmate?!"
"Relative?"
"Acquaintance?!"
While he gave an expression of 'No' to everything cause nothing seemed suitable, she just stared him!
"What am I to you?! Answer me!" she urged him to say!
While Aryan was blank, "I can't!" he blurted!
"And you know why?!" she asked with a smile, not at all disappointed with his reply, "Because you can't define it! Whatever we both have is undefined!!"
He just kept gazing her, Tara smiled faintly, "Some bonds are undefined! You can only feel them!!"
She downed her gaze to look into her cutlery when he said something which made her look up at him again!!
"You know it's real, when you can't describe how you feel!!"
Their gaze got locked while silence carried away which in now no way was stopping their eyes from communicating!!
