The next day Aryan went to pick up Tara, and then he started driving towards the company!
She was lost in her mobile and he assumed that she was looking the results of the advertisement that got released, as it seemed to be! He remained silent too for a while and cleared his voice after a brief moment when she put the mobile back in her handbag, and looked ahead.
"I...." she looked at him as he suddenly spoke making him hesitate.
"You....what?"
"I won't be leaving you until your problem is solved!" he said stopping the car and looked at her and she realised that they had reached!
She frowned as she thought about why did he said such a thing suddenly, and that was when she recalled her own words! 'I just thought you are.... desperate to leave me!'
She rolled her eyes while hiding the smile that urged to appear on her face! "Let's get in, they would be waiting for me!" she said just that and got out of the car, waiting for him to join her! He who thought she would say something to what he had said shook his head, what was he expecting, well he had let her know what he wanted her to, and that was enough! Taking off the seatbelt, he got out too, and they both made their way to the board room without making rounds like yesterday!
While they were reaching, Deep reached at the same time too and they both exchanged glances!
"Goodmorning Tara!" he smiled, then gave a slight bow to Aryan which the man returned.
She frowned, "Where were you yesterday?"
He rubbed his neck, "Forgive me! I couldn't make it up for the meeting!"
She frowned even more before rolling her eyes away, "Good morning!!" she scoffed before entering in, leaving both of them.
They both exchanged looks and Deep shrugged at him, "Isn't she tough to handle?!"
Aryan said nothing in return, the man smiled, "You'll get to know!" he then said with a shook and went in, Aryan followed!
And unintentionally, after getting in, Aryan and Deep reached and held the same chair, they both exchanged glances, while Tara who just saw it, said, "I can see many empty chairs!" actually looking at Deep! He stared her then back to him, and with a shrug, "Alright!" he said with a smile before taking the seat beside the one he held a minute ago. And the man then greeted his father with a bow. Aryan kept silent, not knowing what to do, he then just with a sigh took the seat! And he felt glad inward that there seemed many empty seats present, may be this was just a regular normal meeting.
Today the meeting was about all the management things, raises in the profits after the advertisement and some future plans! Aryan just listened all of it wearing a bored expression, he didn't even know why but this made him feel bored, while on the other way everyone seemed serious! Especially Tara, well won't she have that look on her 24/7? He just was glad that he had somehow managed stopping the urge to yawn.
And finally there seemed to be an end, as Tara soon leaned forward, "Alright for now! I will be leaving you guys alone!" she said and stood, making her way out, while Aryan and Deep followed her! When she turned back so that she could see him, she saw even Deep was coming, she stopped and looked at him, "Where are you coming to?"
"With you?"
She shook her head, "No need! From today, you can handle all the other works and help uncle!" she then looked at Aryan, "He said he will be assisting me with everything I do so that he could know me better!" and she then looked back at him while now both the men exchanged looks again!
"Alright! But I can still accompany you in the rounds right!"
She said nothing and turned to leave after giving him a brief moment of silent look! Knowing the meaning of her silence that she is not having any problem with it, he continued as well as Aryan! While she had supervised everything, at once she stopped when she saw Rita still working, from a distance, she didn't understood why! "Manager!" she yelled, and the man arrived soon, not knowing what made her angry again!
"What did I say yesterday? Why is she still working??" she yelled again!
The poor man who began to sweat now, looked at Aryan and she followed his gaze then back to him, "I am asking you something!!"
"It's me!!" Aryan interrupted, making her turn to him!
She frowned as he continued, "I was the one who said him not to fire her!" her frown deepened as she slowly raised her hand, her ring and little finger closed, she waved her palm indicating the man to get out of their sight, the man exchanged looks between her and him and then to Deep who gave him an assuring nod, and only after that did he left them alone! And as soon as the man left, she held Aryan's hand, dragged him to the corner where no one could hear them, but Deep who was worried followed them!
When she reached, she left the grip over his wrist and just kept looking at him with brows raised, "Explain!!"
He sighed, "I am sorry to take decisions but I did what I thought was right!"
She frowned again, "And who are you....to do that??"
"I apologised!" he reminded, though he apologized, he remained in his calm nature which actually made her more frustrated.
She shook her head, "I questioned who are YOU to do that??! Do you know how a business runs? I don't know why you choose to take the lady's side but let me know you, no emotions should be involved in here!! If I let her stay and she continued to do the same, that will only result in my detriment!!"
Deep and Aryan, both were silent! Tara inhaled, frustrated!
"Stay....in your limits Aryan!!"
Deep almost was taken aback, why was she rude to even her doctor?
But to his surprise, Aryan said nothing for that, while he calmly said what he wanted to say her!
"I next time will ask you first!!"
Her brows raised as if he was speaking senseless, "There is no next time!!" she sounded perilous!
He stood silent, "And I even am not going to forgive this!"
"She.Will.Not.Be.Working.Here.Anymore!!" she turned to leave, and finally he lost his calm!!
He held her wrist stopping her, making her turn back and glare at him while Deep stood still not knowing what to do and avoiding interrupting them which seemed as no solution! And for the first time he raised his voice, and Deep was taken aback again!
"For god's sake!! She has a family Tara!!"
She halted, and for some odd reason his grip over her hand loosened a bit as if he understood that she got it, but then he left the grip while they both stared each other, straight into eyes!
"Everyone isn't an orphan!!" he stressed!
