As you can see, the environment I live in cannot be described as prosaic or a bed of flowers; rather, it is a place where I cannot trust anyone or reconcile with them since they are sans visage monsters. creatures that do not display their humanity; instead, they hunt just for their prey. By capturing the suffering of others on video, they may give themselves pleasure. Humans are no longer humane. For this reason, I think that people are the true demons in the world today, not the imaginary beings that people mistakenly think to be supernatural.
Maintaining faith in someone's journey is, in my opinion, the most challenging area. Not just because they are someone we love and depend on, but also because I would like to believe in their character before continuing to trust them.
"A human is a living system of criminalism."
Now the poster in front of me was what it said on behalf of me. People who possess such a mindset still exist. That's what a smile leaves on me, dear.
"Are you coming, Moon?"
"Yes!"
For once, I glanced at the poster and walked by with an unsatisfied face. There was a feeling of disappointment rising in me. Though for a moment I felt better after seeing the words printed on the poster, soon after seeing my Step-grandparents standing beside my family made me down my sight and blame myself for letting my Mom marry a man from the Kiyoko Family. The worst decision… I'm gonna regret it for a while more.
"I don't wanna eat it, Mumma!"
"Carrots are good for your health, Miko. Just have them."
"I already said I don't wanna have it!"
"What I said is said! Don't make it a mess, Miko!"
Eh… What are these screams? Who is this?
After I was done with my work, I stood up and walked down the hallway to the kitchen. I wrinkled my brows when I witnessed Miko doing a war against my Mom. Then my sight fell on her breakfast plate – carrots? Doesn't Mom know that Miko is against carrots?
Haa… these guys often stand up wars without acknowledging where they are staying. At least not in front of Uncle Ren's parents, Mom and Miko.
"Enough. Will you both stop screaming?"
I stretched it with stern eyes at Miko. Seeing me, my Mom immediately left the place with the stamp of her leg against the floor. She looks out of rage. Uhm, Miko, you made a mess.
With a tone of thoughts, I walked furiously at Miko and dragged a chair to place myself in. With my cold eyes at Miko, I spoke,
"May I know why you were screaming at Mom, Miko Kiyoko?"
"U-Uh…Onee-san, that…"
Before, you were accepting such a voltage of courage to raise your voice against Mom. Now, what is stopping you to do the same with me, Miko?
I clapped on the table with one hand and made her attention to stay on me for a moment.
"Remember, Miko. If your behaviour gets worse against Mom, I won't spare you."
"I-I'm sorry, Onee-san."
"Not me. Say those words to Mom."
"Yes…"
I suppose that's enough for now. I immediately walked out of the room and reached the hallway, placing myself in front of the view of the garden. Haa… Have I behaved rudely with Miko? Geez! I shouldn't have, right? But wasn't she getting off by her behaviour towards Mom? Well, what's to say, after all they are… – Like a mother, like a daughter. Huh.
Now, there's no use of feeling awkward thinking about them. It's like this from the start. What a family! Fantastic one, huh?! I do rather slap my face than accept that thought.
A topsy-turvy family! Holy!
Then a hand laid on my shoulder and I saw Uncle Ren coming side to me. With worried,
"Moon, are you okay? Are you still mood off? Your behaviour towards Miko…"
"It's nothing, Uncle Ren. I was just teaching her manners." I slid off his hand and was about to leave but he held my wrist and said,
"Yet it's not the right way, Moon."
"Give me a break, Uncle Ren. Let the matters settle themselves." I shoved his hand and walked away. Feels like my behaviour towards my family is changing. Is that because of pressure from higher dimensions? Might be. Or might not be.
"Haa…"
[ In Present ]
What the hell? They all decided to take me out because of my bad mood but I'm fine, man! The fact that my step-grandparents arrived with my dysfunctional family shocked me. What's the deal with all of this? This is not where I want to waste time!
I have to reach my objective! (〒﹏〒)
However, I'm still working. Prior to my mother and Miko cleaning up the debris, I was repairing the cameras in the first block—aside from the second block. I had even installed cameras all around the garden to see whether anyone else visits to complete the leftover tasks left by my step-grandparents. I promise to complete this crime by today. I will ultimately have someone to take care of following this work.
This time, I promise not to make any mistakes. Everything ought to proceed as planned.
"Moon, should we see the horse riding first? Or a dolphin performance?"
Is this any quiz? Only two options… yet I have no complaints, though. Anything works for me as long as my Step-grandparents stay in my eyes.
"Anything, Uncle Ren."
"Fine, then. Let's see horse riding, Tsuki-chan." Stop addressing me in that way…
"Uhm, Grandma Kiyoko."
If you already have an opinion then why the hell did your son ask me? Tsk.
We got our tickets for our desired players to see them ride fabulously on their horses. Grandma Kiyoko and I were sitting in the second row. The rest were invisible as we hadn't cared about their whereabouts. I suppose they might have walked to the dolphin performance.
There were more than 10 minutes to start the game and before that Grandma Kiyoko demanded drinks and fries. She's really a pain in my neck, man…
"Here are your fries and drink."
"Aww. Thank you, Tsuki-chan ~"
Did she really not know that I'm going insane into their job? Or is she just paying a deaf ear to my involvement? She's seriously a complicated woman.
"Do you think alcohol is good for your age?"
"It's alright, Tsuki-chan. I feel powered by this."
"Uhm? I see." She's so weird, though. ( ̄ヘ ̄;)
(✷‿✷) Wow! Horse riding soon started! Well, why am I so excited like her?
A glance at her, I understood how enthusiastic she is about horse riding. She still plays a child role when it comes to her favourite things, huh? You're different, Grandma Kiyoko. I took a sip of my juice and looked at the ground. There were 4 horses in a row with their riders above them. Fantastic colours.
The female cyclist with the dark grey horse seemed to be far more focused than the other riders. They are jumping on their toes, the following: white one alongside the sexist rider, brightly excited to finish this game soon and enjoy it. But this one has lofty objectives… However, there's something unsettling about the black one with the guy rider. Do they mean business? or in a foul attitude? Man, why are the horse and rider wearing such a stern expression? Unsettling. Better not give them a quick peek. …..What? The brown horse is performing what the devil does? Dozing off? Right now? Haa… What a headache! I'll never go for horse riding again. However, it's challenging to tolerate disparate feelings from each of them.
"Which horse are you cheering for, Tsuki-chan?"
Don't ask me. I'm not interested.
"I'm gonna choose Witeny! She runs very fast." Grandma Kiyoko said.
Feels like this horse riding isn't her first sight. She might have been here before too, I guess.
"Witeny? Who is that?"
"You don't know the names of the horses? Haa…, Tsuki-chan. (눈‸눈)"
"There's no use in seeing me like that. I'm new obviously."
"Fine. Listen. White horse is Witeny. Black horse is Blake. Dark grey horse is Dawn. And Brown horse is Bensen."
Surprising that even horses are given names. And Grandma Kiyoko could remember each of them's names. Good memory, old lady. I was just jaw-dropping until the gun shot was heard and the match began with a lot of rising sand. What a sand fog!
It's my first time seeing a horse riding, it was more interesting… with my step-grandmother. I have never imagined spending such an enthusiastic moment with her – someone I never looked at with a positive outlook. Obviously, because of her wrong doing. If only you would have spent your life normally with your husband instead of committing crimes, I would've loved you the same way I love my paternal grandmother even though you are my paternal step-grandmother, Grandma Kiyoko. Sigh…
"Aw! It was an outstanding game, right, Tsuki-chan?"
"It's because Witeny won the game, is it?"
"Aww! My granddaughter is so smart, ha. Haha."
