Chapter 75 - Sentenced

"What happened?" I stated, letting myself out of the car. Uncle Ren who was checking the engine mentioned,

"Seems like the engine failed, Moon." He said with a high exhale and closed the front door of the engine.

"How's that possible? It was sent to service a week ago." I said, adjusting the sunglasses over my head. With narrowed brows at me, he gestured for me to come over and opened the engine door.

"Look at it yourself. Its condition is bad, are you sure that it was sent to service?"

Looking at its failure, one can say that it was never sent to service in the first place. But I'm the one who gave the car to service a week ago for better maintenance yet it turned out this way. How's that possible? Seems like it hadn't happened on its breakdown of the part but smells like a plot rather than a malfunction. Who might have attempted this?

As the door was being closed by me, I gradually came in contact with… Grandma Kiyoko. She was sitting in the passenger seat and was just looking at me. I frowned my brows at her and she appeared with a short smirk.

Tsk. Why didn't I grasp that this was Grandma Kiyoko's work? You really need to be punished for what you have been causing me, Old lady. Even if she had done this – yet I'm the only one who can acknowledge that – it's not easy to make Uncle Ren or anyone else believe my words with no evidence against her. That is why I hadn't discussed anything about you with anyone yet. Evidence! I have no valid evidence against them!

"Hm… Then, I will book an XL Cab. Is that fine?"

"Fine. What about the car?"

"I will inform the service or roadside assistance. Or I will just look for a tow truck."

"Better go with the service. It's far better than others." He said, walking towards my Mom and I just replied with a short nod. Immediately called the breakdown service and booked the cab for all. When I was done – I was having a thought of informing this little thing to Uncle Ren but with a notification from my surveillance camera, I instantly stopped.

My brows frowned dubiously and I turned out with a poker face. My thumb flew over my screen to the notification popping up. I clicked it and the screen turned black with a loading sign. Before my thoughts could flood above my head, the footage came in time.

It was playing a person who was in black long trousers with white sweatshirt. His head was covered with a black cap and was certainly carrying a baseball bat in his hand. He doesn't seem so slender, though. Without his face, I can't estimate his identity and whereabouts.

Abruptly, he moved his body and looked at the camera with cold eyes. My eyes went wide in amusement but to my disappointment, he was wearing a mask.

At this moment, the thing he attempted extremely jolted my eyes. He raised his baseball bat and smashed the surveillance camera. What…? In hurry I immediately shifted to other cameras but their screens were just buzzing due to breakdown. He smashed all my surveillance cameras! But they were barely witnessed by naked eyes… How the hell did he find them all? What should I do…now?

"Tsuki-chan, are you wailing over your spoiled plots?"

I was startled and looked in the front… Grandma Kiyoko?

Tsk! You did this all?! But how did she do it?!

"How can you…?"

"You think you're smarter than me, Tsuki-chan. I have been monitoring you all these days. I even knew that you went through the garden including the surveillance cameras. You thought me as a fool? Or thought I don't know anything about you, Tsuki-chan?"

Tsk! I easily got fooled by her. I shouldn't have underestimated you, Grandma Kiyoko. With a triumphant smirk on her face, she whispered her final statement in my ear.

"Let me see, how you will grasp evidence against me, Tsuki-chan?"

In the whole conversation, I just listened to her say and stayed quiet until the cab arrived – with a short glance at me, printing my withdrawal on my forehead, she got into the cab with the family members. I just saw her leaving loftily without expressing anything to leave a comment that I can do nothing against her.

Wait. Seriously, Grandma Kiyoko. "Haha! Haha! Haha!"

"A-Ah… is this… Miss Moon? I'm from a breakdown service…" He is frightened by my extreme laughter. Be grateful, at least it wasn't an extreme failure scream. Sigh…

"Yes, it's me. This's the car you have to take."

"Okay, Miss Moon. Please leave your address to contact you."

"Hm!"

I immediately gave them my address and contact details with a specific expression on me which was now thinking about my plan-B. Based on my Grandparents knowledge I have already estimated that such a matter will surely take place and my Grandparents might find out about the surveillance cameras but they are forgetting that I just simply don't belong to the Fowler bloodline. I'm the elder Kawin Chirapaisarnsakul's only daughter, Chao-fa Chirapaisarnsakul! Don't underestimate me, Grandma Kiyoko. Haha!

My plan-B. I had already installed micro cameras in those surveillance cameras just in case if they are broken down by physical force or malfunction, these micro cameras get activated shortly and directly get connected to my phone which are controllable either. Now, let me see who will save you guys from me. Tell me, who will stop me from getting evidence against you, Grandma Kiyoko?

No one, absolutely.

"Thank you for the ride, sir."

"It's my obligation, Young miss. Reach safely to your home." With a smile, the cab guy left me at the bus station where I was destined to drop. Surprisingly, I didn't get home and even knew that Grandma Kiyoko would not let the cab reach home this early. So, till then, I will handle the situation at home but I won't break in directly yet instantly I will keep an eye on that masked guy with my micro camera.

For now, I need to search for him…

"Hey, Moon." I got chilled by a loud voice naming me from behind. I turned around and found the guy I was searching for. With a bright smile, I waved him back.

"Chai. Long time no see." I said. Then I passed a glance at the beautiful woman standing side to him, interlocking their pretty hands. Oh my, so lovey-dovey. She looked at me and I was already looking at her. To not make it an awkward moment, I placed my hand above the heart and gave her a short bow for which she reflected with a surprised yet prosaic smile.

Seems like… she isn't familiar with different bows. Well, that's not a matter of fact.

"Actually, she's my colleague, Moon." She smiled short at me. And then Chai continued,

"Moon, she's my girlfriend, Kayleigh Clortz."

I just gave a short response and we soon walked to the nearby internet Café.

Chai was appointed to Fukui prefecture just a 2 hours apart to meet me but the point here isn't about meeting. As a vice-leader of the 22nd batch, he was the only one who was appointed with a department laptop from the 3rd division department and I needed that department laptop to track the footage of my micro cameras by using satellite source so that my Grandparents couldn't figure out my presence through my plan-B.

While making up with garden footage, I spared a moment to look at Chai and as I found my sight, he ordered his girlfriend to get them smoothies.

"Does she know about your work?"

"Only as a physiologist. Speak in word language."

I nodded, getting my attention back on to the screen. On the garden footage, I saw the same guy from the previous version was now standing at the main point of the two routes. She turned around and spoke to someone behind him but at a limited distance.

"Where is the body? On the second floor or on the main route?" He said, leaving me in confusion. What does he mean by 'main route' here? Rather than those two routes is there any other route. What's been hidden here, man?

"It's on the main route. Clear the work, I will complete the work on the second floor." The invisible man said with a hoarse voice. Who is this other guy?

"It's an order to deal in 20 mins. Hope you finish it soon." The guy holding the baseball bat stated with a weary expression. 20 mins, huh? That might be an order from my grandparents. There's no doubt obviously. With no hurry, I appointed two different cameras towards them.

Now, on my screen two different people's motions have been recorded. I had no idea about their faces, so I shortly scanned their faces and forwarded them to Chai. He additionally opened his alternative laptop and began working on it before Kayleigh returned. I guess it takes a bit more time for her as the queue is a bit longer than usual. After all, that makes sense as this is the well-known internet café here.

"The first guy with black cap is Carin Vatz, 27 years old and has been lately working with a plumber shop. He was once stated in custody for fratricide. He was given a death penalty but it didn't happen due to the sudden disappearance of the valid evidence against him. It's surprising that his bank account has reached millions."

"Isn't this enough to state that he was committing illegal work?"

"That can be possible but in the interrogation, he stated that the money he has is not his alone but also the combination of his brother's amount. So, currently, it's not possible to prove he's committing illegal acts as he even proved he was right by submitting evidence in the court."

"Is there any information about the sudden disappearance of evidence against him?"

"There's no official data regarding this matter. Might be removed from the website, Moon."

"Hm! I see. What about the other guy?" I said keeping an eye on both of the footage.

"The second guy is Mearen Merj, 30 years old. An old employee in a CD company. There's no illegal judgement against him or any criminal record. Instead he was stated as professional surgeon who resigned due to his lack of concentration while the procedure which deleted a life after this he just joined into a CD company."

My grandparents appointed a person who had no criminal record? That's somehow surprising, though. I interlock my fingers and come into a thinker pose.

"I see. Is he married yet? Any details about his background."

"He isn't married yet. His parents died after his graduation in medical faculty so later he was looked after by his maternal grandparents."

"Yet… There's something off about them. Seems like something's missing about them."

"I'm sorry, I can't help more than this as the official website hasn't released their valid information, Moon."

"Hmm! That's bad." I was a bit mood-off or if I say stern knowing all about these guys.

Storing the whole information, I glanced at the second footage as I just got a little heart attack seeing Carin cutting a human body and… getting out the organs? They were killing people for organs! What is this horrific scene?!

I shut-opened my eyes. I couldn't believe what Grandma Kiyoko was doing.
