[POV: MOON]
"Enough, Baby." I calmed down finally. "Ok, Mom." I just looked at Tangwen whose hand was in my Mom's hand… I was surprised, looking at my Mom. What is my Mom doing? She pulled Tangwen to the couch and made her sit just by her side.
"That's great you arrived on Moon's Birthday, Dear." Haiz. Mom you really won't understand, right? I kept annoyed eyes and looked at them, settling myself down on the sectional sofa. "Mom, it's enough now," I said directly.
"You be quiet, you actually don't know anything." What does she mean?! Both my Mom and this stupid Tangwen are suicide headache for me. Sh! No matter what if I break My head or legs, they will still continue talking sh*t. Hmm!
"Then why isn't she celebrating her birthday, Aunt Lilly?" Tangwen said curiously.
Why is she even getting so curious about my things? "You don't have to know about it, Tang." I said with cold eyes but my Mom stroked my head hard and said, "She is your friend, she has all the rights to know about you." A friend? To know about me?
"I want to know, Aunt Lilly." And my Mom carried on her lines.
"This incident took place when Moon was just to race her 10 years-old. When our house was wholly decorated with bliss and all the guests were eager to cherish my kid with presents…but suddenly we got a call from the hospital saying that… Moon's Dad had taken off his last breath. The whole house automatically walked into caliginosity. All the guests left with empty hands. From that day…, Moon stopped celebrating her birthday on this day as this day took her half-heart from her. And… It's even a remembering day of her Dad and my Dearest Husband."
Tangwen's eyes suddenly pulled down in gloom. She interlocked her hands and showed guilt as she recalled how her stupid brother's Ceronedolie pigment test had taken my Dad's life. My Mom sniffs softly then continued
"But she began celebrating her Dad's birthday as her birthday so that she doesn't have to tell her story every time she talks about not celebrating her real birthday. Only Yeran, I, You and Moon know about it. Not even her step-father knows."
My Mom made her special now. Just because I talked about Tangwen's background last night. Talked about her parent's tragic death and her monster Brothers. Is that why she began chasing her with sympathy? Somehow, she got a Mom feeling now.
"Moon…" Nnn? Tangwen called me whispering beneath her breath. When I made eye contact with her I discovered her kneeling down to my feet. W-What's wrong with her? "E-Eh? What are you doing, Tang…?" She gently laid her hand into the warmth of my palm and heartbreakingly looked into me.
Is that a real impassioned feeling? "Moon, will you tolerate me to be your new year wish for this birthday? I'll take you to a different generation of this era." What an awesome dialogue Author gave you! Wow!
Those eyes of hers got something unexpected throb of my heart, flipped my character into the kindest one ever before. "You weirdo. Stop your nonsense."
A flick of my fingers, gave a hit to her forehead after I placed her on the weirdo list.
She looked with her narrowed eyes and grinding her patience that's crossing its limits deliberately. "Sheesh! Tangwen's words touched me but you- you spoiled that heart-touching feeling, Moon!" My Mom screamed, connecting her teeth fiercely.
How can someone be angry with me? When I'm wholly and purely and mathematically so innocent. Hehe! "She was speaking rubbish, of course." I said in a way showing-off that Tangwen's feelings don't even matter a bit to me. But in a while, my Mom began connecting to Tangwen and she took her side TODAY!
And here I am. My ear is held in my Mom's hand stretching it as long as it is not an organ but a dough, huh? She was stretching from one side and on the other hand, I was screaming in pain. Of course!! It's killing me!
The PAIN!!
ISN'T BEARABLE IN ANY CASE!!!
"Ouch! Ouch, Mommy!" I smiled at the end. "Idiot, you're smiling? Do you want me to do it again?" No way! Noooooo no, no, no, no. "No way, Mommy!" She began laughing as I said it in a strange way of expressing my weird fear. I looked at Tangwen and said, "C'mon let me take you to a beautiful place."
She looked at my Mom like she's asking for permission. "Go with her, Dear Tang. You will literally find yourself in a breathtaking place." Tangwen suddenly blushed out as a blooming flower of Sakura. That touched me. Ouch, Girl.
Her face as bright as morning sunlight, falling rays from the atmosphere almost made her a model on the spot if she hadn't decided to hold my arm, making me her future boyfriend in any case. Looking into my eyes she made me realize that my heart is slowly but soon gonna find itself in a red 4-sided wall with no windows but only a sound that I call… Heartbeat.
"Huh? Are you staring at me, Idol?"
Huh… same dialogue. But the answer that I will give will be different today, Tang.
"Yes. I'm admiring your beauty, Tang."
She was dazed! It looks like she forgot to answer me when my answer whacked her mind so much harder than a hammer. Let me know your response, Dear.
Those trembling legs of hers make an futile attempt in walking. A miss-step and she suddenly collapsed into my arms. Even made me take a step back 'cause of her force.
"Are you ok, Tang?"
"I'm just… surprised by your answer, Idol."
Her warm-cold palm cupped my face, giving me a dumbfounded shape. I gazed merrily in her ocean blue eyes, hypnotizing me with her eyes. "Stop overacting." Shortly, I held her face with one hand, pressing her cheeks to pop out her lips out in the fish mouth.
"Aah! You're a spoiler! Humph!" Pushed me and puffed her face.
"We are getting late and you're making stories here." I chuckled on her face. Maybe this girl is really my smile but still… I can't make you mine by keeping somebody's name in my enclosed heart, Dear Tang.
At least I can give you a life. "Love stories are fascinating, you know!" I held her cheeks and stretched them out. Stop annoying me, Tang…! There was an angry red mark on my forehead when she began laughing instead of screening her pain out.
Like she often does. "Why are you laughing, Dear Tang?" I said leaving straight her cheek.
"Isn't it what you do when Aunt Lilly does the same?" Without any reaction I turned back in hope of figuring my Mommy and it took place so soon too. I saw my Mom smiling and that reflected on me like a mirror.
"Another Moon of the Fowler family?" From behind it was My Mom's voice that shook down Tangwen in jerks. "Huh? Who?" She made a sudden twist forming her hands in front for a defence.
She is gonna attack my Mom?
"Aunt Lilly?" She finally realized. "How long are you gonna take to carry on, Baby?" My Mom suddenly but surely reminded me of my main work. "Oh! Thank you, Mom. I wholly forgot." Shame on my sheepish smile.
