[POV:- TANGWEN ALFIE]
"Tang? Tang? Tang, step out of your room! Tang!"
I heard voices getting raised minute by minute. I feel the knocks on my door sounding louder and louder until my patience downs. I twisted and opened the door so impatiently that I know I do find my Older Brother Dillon anyhow!
When I desired to see her. She must have walked off already. "Tang…, are you okay?" Can't you even judge my condition just by my gloomy face, puffy eyes and flecked makeup?
I clenched my fist and looked fiercely at my Brother Dillon. His eyes were calm as my facial reaction was never matter-of-fact to him. Tsk!
Stunned me, abruptly jerked off when a letter popped in front of my crystalline eyes, dropping off the unfair tears.
"It's what your Moon left for you." She came here…? Then why didn't she cross into my room, and meet me? Am I unlucky to have my Moon? A-am I…? "Have no questions? Why are you so quiet today?" My eyes were just glued on the letter my Moon left for me.
"Give me the letter, Bro." I forwarded my palm, straight to his face. He slightly slipped his eyes onto my palm and changed his chin angle as if something was processing in his mind, awful than I ever could think. Or… make.
A short smile occupied his lips as his attention passed to the letter. What's now? "Want this?" I strictly nodded my head and my palm was still facing his eyes fiercely. "Ya. You can have it but I don't wanna pass it so easily." My nerves are burning second-in-command.
I wanna slam your face, Idiot Dillon! "What do you wanna have then?" As I raised the question he smiled and held my wrist calmly, didn't even grip it. Walking down the edge of the stairs, he halted at the dining table. Ah…
"There's nothing I want in return, Tang. I just want you to have a wholesome plate of food."
Huh? I was wholly stunned by this note of action pronounced by my Bro. I was now blown away by the dishes presented in front of me! When did my Bro come to know how to cook?! That's a shame for me… as I never knew how to cook from the start.
"Make yourself comfortable with dishes, Tang."
"Um." One by one every single dish's fondness was mixed into my saliva, moistening it. Umm! It's luscious and mouthwatering! How come, my Brother came to be this professional in the making of food?! Finally, I'm proud of him. Sniff! Sniff!
I'm emotional! Ahem, it's a fake one. "How is it?" You can't even guess my answer. "Yuck, it's awful and salty. How can you cook this way?" He completely agreed that his soul is no more his soul. "W-what are you saying? How's that possible?!" I shrugged.
"How come I know?" Unfortunately, a giggle escaped from my cage of vigorous teeth. And it was accidentally eavesdropped by my Bro. "You- Liar! How can you low-eye on my food?!" He began lecturing about his award-winning dishes and forcing me to smell their stunning and enthusiastic aura.
Blah, blah, blah. "Are you listening to me, Tang?" I sighed. "Yah. Yah." Me and my neutral face. We're tired now.
After a whole 1hr boring session, finally, I'm on the sofa with an exhausted body. Ha…! It was completely a time waste job! "Dillon! Give me my letter now! Enough playing around the bushes!" I was brainless for a second when I slipped my brother's name out of my mouth… Omg! He will surely lay me to rest!! Not even Moon is around me to save!
"What did you just say, Tang…!" His demonic eyes and voice hysterics me now! knuckle-cracking of his fingers are reverberating in my ears. As my eyes widened, I began stepping back but… Something soft touched my back.
Is that my Moon?! I twisted back immediately… Left with absolute disappointment. As I discovered that the person was my Brother's female assistant, Ms Laleen. She smiled and said, "Hello. Tangwen." I turned unhappy in seconds. Like it cut off my skin so brutally. "Hi…, Ms Laleen." My voice went down right at dusk.
"Laleen, What brought you over here?" My Brother asked strictly, legging into me.
"I was here to inform you that investors wanna have a meeting with you, Mr. Dillon." She said, representing the clear evidence of consideration. When my Brother just responded with a short relief of breath in irritation. "Postpone it for tomorrow." How rigid my bro is! Shh!
I'm anxious about Ms Laleen now. "How mean you're, Bro Dillon?" He abruptly turned to me and Ms Laleen was wholly dumbfounded. Of course, she didn't ever assume I would speak against my Brother. "Ms Laleen came this long for you and you- you're treating her as her words flew overhead! Play your role as Boss and attend your meeting!"
I yelped at him but he was rigid, standing straight like a sculpture popping his clenched fist in front of my confident eyes which are now frightened. Haiz. "Ouch! So-sorry, Bro." His punch is like a stone! It's aching! Now!
Sorry to bring you down to earth, Ms Laleen. "Don't act smart in front of me. And Laleen, tell them that the meeting will be at 9 O'clock in the Zoom meeting." She immediately responded, "As you order, Mr Dillon!" Later she took her leave and walked off.
"Hey, Tang. Here is your Moon's letter."
Wow! Finally! I immediately snatched it. The envelope was of an old kind, yellowish outer coating and there was a stamp of MT on the opening of the envelope. What does it mean? MT…? I blinked twice in confusion, scratched the stamp off and opened it. A short note in it?
'Soft hearties like you won't be entitled to perceive rigid hearties like me. You deserve the promising heart, Tang… But not me, Dear. Follow someone who cares, not who tosses you in the trash as if you never existed for them before. Thank you for everything, Cherry Fowler.'
My eyes had lost themselves in the memories of Moon then how am I supposed to abandon those priceless feelings, Moon? Tell me, Moon! Ahh-ahh! I wanted you but you never did! Wh-why, Moon! Why…, Moon?
"Tang… Why are you crying? What happened?"
"Brother, Moon left me. I want Moon, Bro. Please bring her back for me. Please, bro."
I sobbed heartbreakingly, my tears of sadness falling like a shower as I finished reading the note. Puling into my hands, trembling shoulders forced my emotions in and out. My sorrowful tears streamed down my cheeks as I sobbed uncontrollably over the words.
"I'm here with you, tell me about it, Tang." He held my hands gently, kneeled to my foot and rubbed my thumb tenderly. My eyes, shedding tears slid down my chin. Soon it disappeared by my Brother's thumb, his hand is so cold. "Read this note, Bro."
"She's right, Tang. She just wants you to have the right person where she isn't-" My fist is out of control and… I punched my Brother. "Never pronounce that." He looked at me stunningly and stood rigidly as if he's not ready to accept my unexpected punch.
He took a while to switch his eyes off from the note and then pronounced his words,
"...Tang, I can understand your point. But you should wake up your mind to accept the truth."
Uh…? I didn't get it…much. It just makes no sense to me after all! "I believe Moon has sense in this note. Tang." Enough. Enough I heard his blabbering. I snatched the note and walked out into the garden, just standing right before I actually stepped into the mud.
I passed a pleasant look at the envelope but I touched something that's hard in it. Another mystery in the envelope? As I made it up and down, a shiny material slid down into my palm. It was a extraordinary Rutilated Quartz necklace! Oh my, how sparkling! The surface was smooth as a pillow and had a beaming structure. I loved it!
Is this what my Moon left for me…in the place of her… memories?
Now I gotta find you in every way I go. I deserve you in every single way but somehow you're not ready to accept it. It's ok…I will follow another way for the sake of your happiness. I regret it whatsoever… but I guess I'm a bit capable of making your words come true. Though it hurts, at least that makes you happy right.
"I'll try to forget my Moon, Bro."
"W-W-What?! Are you really Tangwen Alfie who sacrificed her sleep and nights, just to find her Moon! Now you're saying you'll leave her!"
"Yes. I'm Tangwen Alfie. Who's finally giving up on her lesbian love…"
"Congratulations! You threw me into a sharp coma."
"Hey! Bro!" What the heck…?
