"So..." Xavier began, spreading his hands to the side, looking around the room that seemed empty without Raven. "What is going on?"
Zeno cleared his throat before speaking up again. "Well... about your council members, Your Majesty."
'What about them?" Xavier asked and dropped his hands. The look in his eyes told Zeno that whatever news he brought wasn't good enough for what happened earlier today between himself and Raven.
He could see that clearly by the way Xavier's face turned redder than usual. He wanted news that was worth the interruption and so far, Zeno wasn't doing justice to that.
"They are requesting justice be brought to the other two men," Zeno informed him.
Xavier blinked several times while staring back at him blankly.
He looked like someone who just got hit over the head with a hammer or something equally painful instead of hearing anything remotely close to being angry.
"Okay."
