CHAPTER 146 - Questions
Raven saw the pain and hope flash in his eyes but rather than giving her a chance to explain or answer and rectify that doubt, he shook his head and before she could say anything, he disappeared in front of her eyes.
"God, how does he keep on doing that?" She lamented out loud and moved to the bed to sit down.
Everything about how he handled things battled her but she never wanted to hurt him.
"How does he want me to respond? I felt bad he compared me to the late Queen and agreed to leave notwithstanding but for him to say I do not care about him…"
She pressed her lips tightly and lowered her head.
"I do care. It is him whom I should question that way but now I am the one who is bad."
Raven sighed and played with her fingers while her mind wandered to anything it could grab at the moment.
