Not knowing what to say anymore, she looked away. Indeed, she was the one who stated the punishment and thus her doom.
She had almost given up when an idea rushed to her mind and relief brought a smile to her lips.
"You give consent?" Xavier questioned, not wanting to cross his boundaries.
"No, I do not. If there is anything, I think for someone who was angry and grieving some moments ago, you sure know how to jump the gun with someone else. I think that would be considered inappropriate. Don't you think so?"
His smile was smug but within seconds it washed off his face instantly and he pulled away from her.
"Nice one. I respect her enough not to do that," Xavier clarified and turned his back away from Raven.
"And what if I had wanted it as well? Would you have denied me?"
