He had said it but she did not understand. Just having heard a little bit of the truth, he saw her ready to enact revenge on the one who wronged him but when he said he was punished for it, she got confused.
"I took my revenge on the races and the realm gave me what would have been an eternity punishment had you not wandered into the valley."
"But they didn't do anything to you. That was where you went wrong by killing the innocents."
"Maybe but you do not know what happened."
He turned, letting his gaze wander to where she sat on the bed.
As if on cue, Raven rose from where she sat and walked halfway across from where he was.
"Tell me, please. I want to know the truth of the past. Tell me everything that happened please."
"I do not want to revisit the past."
