CHAPTER 117 – Sky's Sadness, Raven's Awareness
All through the night, Raven could barely sleep. She tossed and turned on the bed with thoughts of what had transpired plaguing her mind.
Finally, her freedom was within reach but here she was sulky on her bed.
She could not explain the sadness that had overwhelmed her because of it but she knew her heart wished to be free. Yet somehow, she found peace in her captivity.
Raven breathed out as she turned to the other side of the bed and hugged her pillow close to her chest.
Scenes of the time she had laughed and was free in the Aisle began to replay in her mind.
As much as she wished to ignore things and not hold any strong emotions, she found herself doing the exact opposite.
She could not lie that since she met Xavier, her life took a different turn. She found pain, loneliness, fear, and joy all at once in a new form.
