CHAPTER 110 – Sky's Return
Rather than visiting the throne room with her people's representatives, Sky wished for Xavier to meet them all and insisted on them staying in the courtyard.
The moment she heard the pair of strong wings flapping close by, Sky lifted her head, only to see him hovering over their heads.
A knowing smile formed on her face as she watched him descend close to them.
As much as she would have loved to hide it or deny it, she missed seeing him so much and above all, she missed being a troublemaker to him.
"Your Majesty." Her smile brightened as she bit down on her lower lips like an eager child yearning for her parent's hug.
"Skylar," he enunciated, revealing a bit of tooth when he smiled. "Welcome back."
It had taken a great deal to get in this lively state when a while back, he was too troubled and bothered with Raven.
