Sher Shah left this world in 1602. He established the Sultanate with great pomp and his justice will always be remembered in the history of India. Raja Todarmal was the first servant in the court of this emperor and the laws of rent which are associated with the name of Akbar are the result of this emperor's fate.
As soon as the news of Sher Shah's death spread, Rao's Rajputs started attacking Khawas Khan from here and there. He too faced them with great youth for a few days. Eventually he was killed in the market of Jodhpur. On the advice of Ruthi Rani, he behaved very well with the people of Jodhpur. That's why they took his dead body to Khawaspur with great respect. There his tomb was built, a village named after him was established, a garden was established, another memorial tomb was built in Jodhpur. At both the places, vows began to be made on his grave. Both Hindus and Muslims make offerings there till today and take his name with respect. All this is the fruit of his righteousness, which has been blessed by very few emperors.
Rao ji also reached Jodhpur while fighting while lifting the Afghan police stations along the way and again the Rathores ruled in Jodhpur. Along with this, Khangi quarrels also started, the reason for which was Jhali Rani Sarupdei.
Rao ji's eldest son Kumar Ram was born from Rani Lachhaldei Kachwahi. He used to stay mostly with the rude queen. The younger Raimal Jhali was from Queen Hiradei and Udaysen and Chandrasen were from Queen Sarupadei. Hiradei and Sarupadei were both cousins. They used to divert Rao ji by making false and true things on behalf of Kumar Ram for the benefit of their respective sons. Ram also used to get pulled after seeing Rao ji being pulled by his side and the courtiers used to provoke Ram seeing Rao ji's eccentric nature and weakness.
In Marwar, there are two great occasions for the men in the rich household to shave their beards and for the women to wear ivory bangles. A lot of gatherings gather on these occasions, lots of feasts are fed. In Samvat 1604, Rama turned sixteen years old. His beard and mustache also came out. Till the beard turned into a chin. His beard and mustache also came out. As long as the beard is not cut from the middle above the chin, there is no difference between Hindus and Muslims, as there is an identity of beard between Hindus and Muslims. Rani Lachhaldei asked Rao ji for permission to perform this ritual and celebrate by having his son Kumar Ram's beard trimmed. They agreed, but since it was very hot in Jodhpur, Rama proposed to go to Mandaur 1, which is full of lovely gardens and views. (1. Mandaur is the old capital of Marwar. It is situated under a hill three kos north of Jodhpur.)
On this pretext, he came to Mandore and gathered his friends and colleagues and those who knew his secret here and said that Rao ji has become old, due to his mismanagement there are fights in the country. Your friends visit enemies every day. Therefore, as soon as they walk from here, catch them and imprison them so that there will be peace in the country. While this advice kept happening here, Rao ji also got to know about it. He immediately sent a palanquin to the Kachwahi queen Lachhaldei's palanquin and said that come down from the fort now. The queen asked, my letter? Got the answer that your son will tell you. The queen had to leave the fort on her own. In the evening, Ram also came drunk with pride and started going to the fort, the fort said, "You do not have the order to go inside." Ram said, "Go and tell Rao ji which letter I have 's.
He replied- "You are a kaput and not fit to live in the fort. You better go to Gondoz. All the arrangements will be made for you there."
Ram was compelled to go to Gondauj with his mother. When the Jhali queens got it done according to their wish, now Ruthi fell behind the queen that if somehow this cob would have slipped from the chest, then there would be no problem with anything. We have Rao ji in our hands, whoever would have wanted. As a result, Rao ji's ears began to fill that Ram has become such a disobedient and a pessimist at the behest of the ruthless queen. At the behest of the queens, other people also complained about the angry queen. Even Rao ji sent him to Gonduj. Now this time she obeyed her husband's orders with great passion because she had a lot of affection for Kachwahi Rani and Kumar Ram. Apart from this, seeing Rao ji trapped in so many troubles, she did not think it right to harass him. The day the news of his going to Gonduj reached the raniwas, the house of his sisters lit the lamps of ghee.
Kumar Ram was married to the daughter of Rana Udai Singh. Not seeing his abode in Gonduj, he went to Udaipur. The Rana gave him a warm welcome and gave him Mauja Kaleva, which is very near to Marwar. Within a few days, Ram took both his mother and Umaid to the same place. In this way the thorn in the eyes of the Jhali queens came out. Rao ji also took a break from external and internal troubles and started winning the country and won many lost areas again but also conquered many new areas.
But these successes soon broke down. With Akbar coming to the throne and gaining traction, Rao ji found it difficult to handle his own turban. Gradually, many areas got out of hand. What would the old Rao face of the zealous climbs of the young emperor? The days of his life were over. Finally, in the Kartik month of Samvat 1619, Rao Maldev took the path of heaven after ruling with great success.
