In the empty space, Xie Qing walked forward without looking around.
There was a light ahead and he was slowly but surely approaching it. Soon he entered a bright room.
Suddenly his eyes widened.
"You..."

Heaven, Villa Xie Qing...
The kitchen was lively. Aria was smiling and making breakfast, and Melissa was trying to learn from her.
"I didn't expect you to ask me to teach you how to cook." Aria smiled.
"I-it's... I wanted to be a proper wife..." Melissa looked away, but a blush appeared on her cheeks.
Aria grinned and cracked an egg into the pan. Melissa repeated after her.
"Look, Aria..."
"Yeah?" Aria cracked another egg and answered without moving her gaze.
"How do I win Xie Qing's heart?"
Aria froze, not expecting such a question. She turned to Melissa and saw that she had a sad expression on her face.
Her behavior was understandable, for though Xie Qing did not reject her advances, he did not show much enthusiasm.
Sometimes he even forced himself, such as when he hugged her. Melissa still remembered their relationship in the mortal world and bit her lip.
At first he was indifferent, since it was only a task from the system, but soon he began to behave more affectionately.
His embrace was warm and full of love, but one day he became cold again. It seemed as if his heart had become permanently petrified.
One of the reasons was the death of his mother and the meeting with his father.
He wanted to take Xie Qing with him, but the latter not only disagreed, but instead beat up his own father!
After that, he lived off the money he earned by completing missions. He exchanged his points for dollars and lived like that until his eighteenth birthday.
Aria felt strange feelings inside her. Pity, tenderness... and with it joy.
But, of course, that joy was not out of spite. Aria felt a little happy that Xie Qing was paying so much attention to him.
However, she herself was the reason why Xie Qing had agreed to give Melissa a chance.
"The first time we met, I was rude and tried to get back at him for the sudden wedding." Aria grinned. "After that, our relationship was a little complicated."

A huge hole appeared from which ugly monsters emerged. And those monsters were Scavengers!
Their numbers were staggering, for the Scavengers alone increased the number of enemies by two hundred thousand!
Melissa and Aria looked at each other as they flew out of the house. They were shocked.
Thousands of monsters were devouring the throats of innocent angels, even children were getting hit!
The scavengers increased their onslaught, falling to the ground. With swift movements, they killed all the angels and troops that came to subdue them.
The imp spread negative energy, increasing the power of the demons and reducing the amount of holy energy in the air.
The demons of the three lower ranks gladly killed the angels, but the angels killed them as well.
Instantly, the formerly tranquil Heaven turned into hell! It seemed impossible to find peace.
A bright flash suddenly swept across the battlefield, destroying twenty thousand demons and Scavengers.
"Lucifer, you sneaky bastard! You send your dogs out and you don't come out yourself?!"
There was a deafening sound in the sky, causing all the angels and demons to look there.
Three bright halos of light appeared in the sky, and in front of them stood an old man with a powerful build.
His hair was gray and powerful black armor covered the old man's body. It was Alfred!
He spread his wings, which at first glowed bright white, but soon they darkened.
The previously beautiful angel wings turned into raven wings, causing the angels to frown.
Fallen Angel!
A black spot in the history of the angel race, hateful creatures.
However, they didn't have time to understand the situation. The angels flapped their wings and began to kill the demons!
The heavens turned into a battlefield. There were skirmishes everywhere, and a thick black negative energy covered most of the battlefield.
Aria waved her hand and the shiny armor appeared on her. She pulled out her favorite blade and swung it.
Boom!
The bright flash severed the demons' heads and crippled many of the Scavengers. Melissa swung her hand as well, but suddenly turned her gaze to the sky.
There stood an androgynous man who looked to be in his early twenties. He was only 165cm tall, yet his presence outshone all the Seraphim combined.
Melissa left the spell on Aria and soared into the sky, appearing before her new guest.
"Nari, aren't you ashamed to meddle in fights of this level?" Melissa grinned.
"Hearing from someone who planned to kill all demons." Nari shook his head and drew his rapier from its sheath. "So, let's fight."
Without waiting for an answer, Nari took a step forward, disappearing. This action caused a crack in the sky the size of a five-story building to appear.
Melissa didn't flinch and deflected the blow with her hand. Suddenly purple smoke began pouring out of her body.
It was one of Xie Qing's abilities, Devouring!
In comparison, however, Melissa's was much more powerful.
The moment the smoke began to flow out, space distorted and black holes appeared in the sky, absorbing the life force of the demons.
"Tz, still using those pesky powers." Nari sighed.
"I'm not giving up, though!"
He went on the offensive again. Melissa deflected his blows and absorbed energy, making Nari squirm in pain.
However, Melissa, too, received wounds, but they healed in seconds. They were equals in this battle!
In another part of the battlefield, a red portal appeared in front of Alfred and the three Seraphim.
A man with long hair and black demonic wings emerged from it.
"Long time no see, brothers." Lucifer grinned and waved his hand.
Alfred felt a strong pressure and squinted. He flapped his wings and the old man's body glowed with black light.
Instantly, his life force dropped to a dangerous level. Along with it, however, his level was rising.
SS-, SS+, SSS-.
SSS+, X-... X+!
He returned to his peak state, shaking the battlefield with his dark energy.
"Puppy, don't underestimate the Angel of Death!"
Alfred grinned and stepped forward, as did the Seraphim behind him.
The old man pondered, before lunging at Lucifer, "I wonder if I'll see that guy again."
The year 2022 on the human calendar, or Phase 67 of the Supernatural World.
This time will be considered the beginning of a new war that has surpassed the Ancient War.
