Alfred flapped his wings, causing the air to sway violently. The feathers came off his wing, creating a huge black sword.
Grabbing the hilt of the sword tightly, Alfred stepped forward and disappeared. Lucifer grew wary.
The seraphs surrounded him and surrounded this small battlefield with an X-level formation that would not allow outside entry.
Zing!
Lucifer crossed Alfred's sword strike with his long claws, which grew literally in a second.
There was a goofy smirk on his face, as if this fight posed no danger to him.
The rest of the seraphim could not move because of the formation, which must be carefully maintained.
Alfred wasn't particularly upset, but continued to make sword swings. Each stroke caused a wobble in space.
However, Lucifer was light and easily dodged all of the blows, while still managing to inflict small wounds on Alfred.
Even so, the old angel showed no signs of fatigue or weakness, but instead only increased his onslaught.
For several minutes there was serious tension in the air, the bursts of energy forced the seraphim to pour their magical power more diligently into the formation.
"How nice, Alfred. You work so hard for me... your big brother is touched!" Lucifer grinned and lunged at Alfred's stomach.
However, he was met only by a residual image, making Lucifer wary.
Vshuh!
"Gha!"
Lucifer vomited blood and stared in disbelief at his chest with the tip of his sword sticking out.
Though the wound was not serious, it was enough to make Lucifer take it seriously.
Alfred dodged Lucifer's sudden attack and, with a flap of his wings, emerged ten meters from his previous position.
Sensing Lucifer's serious gaze, the old man smirked, as if pleased with himself.
"And I told you not to underestimate me."
Lucifer didn't respond to the obvious taunt and only looked around, assessing his condition.
A formation that blocked reinforcements from the outside and also forbade him to leave it.
He slowly shifted his gaze to the battlefield and frowned.
"Demons show the ghosts of collapse... Looks like we need to use plan B." Lucifer narrowed his eyes and snapped his fingers.
Instantly, the entire battlefield froze, as if time had stopped. Seraphim and Alfred squinted their eyes.
"The Law of Time... I see you haven't wasted any time." Alfred gritted his teeth and looked warily at Lucifer.
He smiled: "I'm not reckless enough to throw myself into Heaven without preparation."
Suddenly the four angels turned around, looking at a certain spot on the battlefield. There were angels and demons fighting to the death.
Among the angels was a beautiful woman who looked like a goddess of war.
Aria.
Alfred frowned and suddenly looked fiercely at Lucifer, whose face was distorted with a smile.
"Scum!"
...
Blood, corpses, and severed limbs.
That's something Aria had never seen in Heaven.
Today, however, that pattern was broken by the angels' sworn enemies.
A compulsive desire to kill was born in her heart. She, a pure and innocent angel, felt the urge to kill for the first time in such a long time.
She was fire, and the screams of her comrades were the wood the demons were planting.
One subtle swipe. The supreme demon lost its head, and with it its soul, which was very quickly destroyed by the holy energy of Heaven.
Even though the amount of holy energy decreased because of the negative energy in the air, it was still present.
Therefore, the weaker demons immediately died. But there was one problem.
Scavengers.
The result of cruel experiments of the Fallen Angels, who didn't even spare children.
The scavengers had no mind or soul. They were just empty shells whose only purpose was to kill.
Pursuing their instincts, they killed weak angels, even children. Their cries for help echoed through every corner of Heaven.
Aria gritted her teeth and tore off the arm of the demon who tried to kill the weak child.
"GHYYYYY!!!"
The demon screamed in agony and his voice sounded like the worst nightmare. Such sounds were everywhere.
It wasn't easy for the angels to cope with such tension, but each of them understood - you can't show weakness in this battle.
Aria swung her sword and instantly a hundred weak demons were destroyed, and the blast wave from the holy energy knocked the demons back several meters.
Her eyes burned with determination to protect what is precious-the inhabitants and her homeland.
In this place she was born, found love, and lived with Xie Qing, sharing happiness and pain.
She wanted her child to see Heaven and stroll happily, enjoying the holy atmosphere.
When she saw Melissa suppressing Nari in the sky, she gritted her teeth.
"I can't lose!"
A determination rose in her heart to protect her comrades.
Sacred energy began to swirl around Aria, enveloping her figure in a holy barrier.
Every demon that didn't have enough brains turned to ash when touched.
After a minute of transformation, an incredibly beautiful girl appeared.
Her blond hair turned golden, shining with holy light. One eye was golden, proving her status as a cherub.
The four wings behind her back made all the angels feel joy and motivation, and the demons despair.
Aria's soul began to tremble, as if sensing something. She was killing demons like a certain famous cook.
Wrapped in shining armor, she looked amazing. But suddenly a haunting feeling visited her chest.
Anxiety.
She felt strangely helpless and uncomfortable.
However, Aria continued to chop down the demons, trying to reduce their number as much as possible.
Suddenly the scavengers came into her field of vision, their bodies forming a small mountain.
She squinted, feeling the discomfort increase. And her premonition was not wrong.
A bright black color illuminated this mountain, making her squint.
Pew!
Suddenly a black laser flew out of that mountain and into Aria's body. She clutched her eyes and fell to her knees, feeling suffocated.
In the sky, Lucifer grinned as if pleased with his leprosy. Alfred was beating him with all his might.
"It's no use, Alfred. Even if you kill me, the curse has already worked." Lucifer shook his head.
"You vile bastard!"
Alfred's furious shout made the Seraphim sigh. They looked at each other and nodded.
Soon Lucifer heard a chant that was clearly not appropriate for this situation.
Thrones appeared in the air, a special kind of angel that served as a throne for the Biblical God.
From the day God fell, they never went outside and were always in the Palace of Light.
Today, however, was a special occasion.
The three Seraphim grasped hands and their bodies glowed. A bright flash of light covered their bodies, making Lucifer feel the pressure.
Aria's anxiety rose in his heart. But he didn't ignore it, for the anticipation of practicing the Realm of Divinity trumps all others.
Soon the Seraphim's bodies distorted, causing Lucifer to open his eyes wide in disbelief.
The Seraphim's aura became one, but Lucifer was disturbed by something else.
"WHY ARE YOU HERE!"
Something new, derived from the fusion of the Seraphim looked at Lucifer.
He looked like a bright silhouette of a man without distinctive features, like a mannequin.
Lucifer glanced at Alfred, who smirked slyly, and then turned toward the bright silhouette.
"WHY ARE YOU ALIVE?!"
Lucifer flinched and opened his mouth in shock.
"A BIBLICAL GOD!"
