My final fight...

Dancing Moon Maiden, Jeoace Illya of the Ishtar Familia.

Raging Wild Boar, Tu'Aurn of the Moccus Familia.

Golden Taurus, Aurumi To'Ro of the Sekhment Familia.

And now...

"Our final fight for our brave adventurers of Level 3!"

Parading around the center of the arena, Ibri riled up the crowd, pumping his arms as he got them to cheer louder and louder.

"We have the one, the only..!"

Swinging his arm towards me, Ibri shouted "The Ker, Nikoletta Bia! The gods have granted her an alias meaning 'Spirit of Blood', and she has proved herself worthy of the name! Will she remain undefeated and win the tournament?!"

Walking forwards, the cheers of the crowd washed over me, and I sighed, wanting to get to the fight already.

Standing in the arena, I watched as Ibri moved to the other side of the arena, starting the next introduction.

"As for her opponent, she is a rising star and member of the Astrea Familia..."

I watched with narrowed eyes as an elf stepped out of the tunnel, a forest green cloak draped over her supple body.

The hood of her cloak was pulled over her head, concealing her features, but the long ears poked outside the hood, and a few strands of long, golden blonde hair were visible.

She loosely held a long, thin wooden blade in her hand, taking slow, measured steps towards me.

Ibri continued as she threw off her hood, revealing snow white skin and beautiful blue eyes.

"Ryuu Lion, the Gale!"

Ryuu narrowed her eyes at me, disgust apparent in her eyes as she stared at me.

Grinning at her, I asked "What, jealous of my body~?"

I looked the girl over, chuckling as she grit her teeth as she glared at me.

She wore a white blouse underneath the cloak, and I could see her gentle curves under the pair of green shorts she wore.

Clenching the hilt of her blade, she continued to stare at me, before speaking in a frosty tone.

"No, I have no need for that excess fat."

I chuckled at that, gesturing with my head towards the crowd, saying "Well, they'd disagree with you~"

She pursed her lips, before shaking her head.

"It doesn't matter. Someone like you shouldn't be allowed to participate in a public event like this."

I grinned at her again, before saying "Why, cause I have blood on my hands?"

Ryuu gave a tight nod, and I shrugged.

"Eh, who cares. If they couldn't beat me in a fight they shouldn't have tried to mess with me."

The elven girl shook her head, her golden hair swaying and glimmering in the light.

"Not them; I know, and everyone else knows that you've killed innocents."

Shrugging again, I gave her a mocking smile as I said "Well, innocent till proven guilty no?"

I could see her lip be drawn up in a sneer, making me grin.

"Well, we'll just have to agree to disagree~"

Lowering my stance, I readied my spear, waiting for Ibri to give the go ahead.

"Oh~ We have two feisty women ready to dukes out for their ideals! Are you all ready for this!?"

The roar of the crowd was deafening, and both Ryuu and I flinched at the physical force of their shouts.

"Contestants, are you ready?"

We nodded, and watched each other with narrowed eyes.

"I AM GANESHA!"

"Oh for the love of... START!"

Ryuu shot forwards like an arrow from a bow, her cloak billowing behind her as she raised her blade.

Swinging it down towards my head with a cold glint in her eyes, I raised my spear and met her blow, grunting as the impact sent shocks through my arms.

Pushing against her, I watched as she did a backflip, disengaging from me gracefully.

Landing like a cat, she shot her leg forwards, sending a large swathe of sand towards my eyes.

Rolling to the side, I felt a swoosh of wind against my arm, hearing the loud thunk of her sword striking the ground I had previously occupied.

I lanced the spear towards her thin body, only to widen my eyes as she pivoted, catching the shaft between her arms and body, wrenching it from my grasp.

Ryuu smirked at me, tossing my spear behind her.

Standing above it, she stared me down, her blue eyes locked on my own.

Pursing my lips, I got up, my hands clenched as I rose.

"Want to give up?"

I grinned at her, dashing forwards.

Swinging a fist towards her pretty face, I grinned in delight when she swayed backwards, only to receive a large handful of sand in her eyes.

Letting out a cry, she desperately tried to blink it out of her vision, sending a strike towards my previous position.

Slipping behind her, I wrapped my arms around her waist, lifting her up before slamming her onto the sand.

She grunted, the air escaping her lungs as her blade slid from her grasp.

Twisting around, I sat on her stomach, about to send a punch to her face when she slammed a palm forwards, digging into my stomach.

It felt like an Orc had slammed its fist straight into me, forcing my breath from my body and making me convulse.

Staggering off her, I coughed up phlegm as she stumbled to her feet, rubbing her eyes.

"You fight dirty, Ker..."

"Agh... Y-You me- ack You mean I f-fight smart..!"

She grimaced at that, scooping up her blade as she made her way over to me.

Before she could lower the blade to my throat, I sprung forwards, tackling her to the ground again.

I pinned her hands above her, and slammed my forehead against hers.

She grunted, her eyes dazed.

Feeling the sharp pain and sting from the blow, I shook my head before doing it again.

Ryuu shuddered, her sky blue eyes rolling around as she passed out.

Panting, I looked down at her, smirking as I whispered "I like this position~"

Unfortunately, the elven girl was out cold, making Ibri shout "Victory to the Ker!"

I got up, the world spinning.

Staggering to the side, I raised a fist, the thunderous chanting making my head ache.

However, the rush of my win made me grin, and I laughed.

Oh, I had so much money now~
