Two days after the event with the big cat, Atlas awoke. He had been severely injured by its attacks and had almost died. The most important thing, though, was that he was back to Level 3 of the Awakened Stage instead of Level 5.
When Atlas first noticed, he cursed out for an hour or so until he finally calmed down and accepted the situation. In order to appease his own wrath, he decided to go look for the cause of it all and eliminate it for good.
That was where the second most important thing came into play.
"Who's this?" Atlas frowned angrily. He couldn't remember anything from that night. Only that he was almost killed by a large cat.
He stared down at the black-haired little girl who hid behind Rin.
Rin looked at the little girl softly and spoke. "She's the cat, and she's joining the gang."
Atlas looked at Rin incredulously and pointed at the girl desperately.
