She woke up not finding Lorcan anywhere in the room, a maid who came in to arrange her bath told her that he had gone out of the palace with the Princess.
She felt so hurt hearing he had gone out without telling her. Was he that angry with her?, he wasn't talking to her and now he has gone out with Lyra to Goodness knows where.
It was about five in the evening and Lorcan hadn't return. She wasn't worried instead she felt hurt. Ever since they arrived here Lorcan had been acting different and she just didn't know why. Was it because of Princess Lyra?, or was he just worried about the whole war thing?? She just didn't understand.
Lorcan was back now, he came into the room to see Reina looking out of the window.
"Where you looking for me? I went..-" she cut him off.
"I don't want to know." She said straightly and walked to the bed.
"Are you angry with me Wife?." He just stood as he watched her climbed the bed.
She laid and faced the other side not wanting to look at him.
"I know you're angry and don't want to talk to me. I'm sorry for not being with you throughout today and I'm also sorry for not informing you." He didn't like the way she was ignoring and he didn't like seeing her angry with him.
He walked out of the room leaving her alone by herself. He left to the beautiful garden where he spotted Lyra seated there looking up to the sky.
"You're here." He said from behind as he walked to sit on the grass.
She turned around to see him, then she smiled. "What are you doing here?." She asked.
"Just wanted to stay here alone." He shrugged.
"Well too bad I'm already here." She glanced at him.
"It's been years."
"I know." He replied.
"You now have a Wife, a beautiful one at that." Her smile faded away as she looked away from him.
"I'm sure you know what brought me here." He changed the topic.
"Yes, Father told me. So what's your next move?."
"I already spoke to the king, the armies would be ready soon, we need to bring Theodore down as soon as possible."
Lyra couldn't help but notice how gorgeous he was, She still had that feelings for him even when she knew he was now married.
Her heart was pounding, she kept staring at his lips as he talked, she wanted to kiss him but she couldn't do that to a married man still he was still tempting.
"I'll be there among the armies, I mean even if it didn't work out between us it doesn't mean we would stop being friends right?."
He stared down at her looking confused, he was short of words and didn't know what to say.
"I can't have you go there, I don't want you to get hurt." He looked into her eyes then he looked away .
Lyra blinked slowly, she didn't believe he still cared for her.
"I insist." She tilted her head.
"I'm sorry Lyra but I can't let you go there, it's not safe."
"Can I ask you for something?." She said. Lorcan nodded with a creased brow.
"Can we go back to old times? Remember our game of chess, I've missed playing it with you."
"You want us to play Game Of Chess? I always win and you'd always run crying to The Queen remember ." He grinned.
"How can I forget?." She said "How can I forget such lovely memories with you Lorcan?." She said to herself as she was lost in his eyes.

Reina sat in the room thinking g of Lorcan, she was tired of fighting with him and she just wanted him to put her to sleep, she went in search for him.
"Where is his Highness Lorcan?" Reina asked a guard by the hallway.
"He's at the Garden, I'll take you there." He led the way and he left her immediately she got to the garden.
Her eyes searched the spacious garden for Lorcan, just then she saw Lorcan seated with a blonde lady. She didn't see their faces but she saw his back and then she knew that was her husband.
Of course the lady had to be Lyra and no one else. She glared at them and was now fuming with anger.
Her heart was hurting, as she stood from afar watching them.
"We'll run around the palace and run a horse race, it was so fun." She chuckled.
"Remember when I hurt my knee?? Instead of telling me sorry you laughed." She frowned then she turned to see Lorcan's lips curved into a smile.
Her heart was racing and she felt this was her moment to have what was hers. She stared down at his lips and leaned in to kiss him. Reina couldn't stand there and watch all that was going to happen so she just ran out of there and went straight to the room crying her eyes out.
Lorcan looked at her in surprise as he pulled her away from him.
"Lyra, what are you doing?." He held her shoulders, stopping her.
"Lorcan I still love you." She said with teary eyes as she leaned in again to kiss him but he stopped her.
"I'm married, I have a Wife and she's right in there waiting for me." He said softly so she wouldn't feel hurt.
"Lorcan please!." Tears rolled down her cheeks as she saw Lorcan rose up.
"About the Game Of Chess, I'll surely honor it but for now, Goodnight Lyra." He walked back into the palace with his arm at his back.

He walked into the room to see her sitting, she looked like she was lost in thought and she was crying, she made no sound but somehow tears rolled down her cheek.
He studied her from the door then he walked to her.
"What is it Wife? You're crying." He sat close to her. She wiped the tears off her face with her hand and then she turned around.
"Talk to me." He placed his hand on her shoulder and she shrugged, taking it off.
"I don't like it when you do this." He wrapped his arms around her waist but she just cried the more.
"Look at me." He said softly and she found herself turning around to face him.
"What have I done wrong?." He cupped her face looking straight into her eyes. He didn't know what was going on with his wife, he didn't know the reason she was hurting and crying.
