*Next Morning*
Reina woke up not finding Lorcan in the room, she got dressed and went to search for him.
She wondered where he had gone so early and even without informing her.
"Have you seen His Highness Prince Lorcan?." She asked a maid in the hall way.
"Yes Your Highness, he's at the hall playing the game of chess with Princess Lyra." She bowed.
"Can you take me there?."
"Yes My Lady." She bowed and led the way.
The maid led her to an entrance of a hall and left, leaving her standing there.
"You can't go in Your Highness." A guard stoped her from entering the hall.
"And why?." She asked trying to peek.
"The Princess gave her orders not to allow anyone to disturb her during her game of chess with His Highness." He bowed.
"I told you I would always win Princess Lyra." His focus was on the game.
The hall was designed for the game of chess, it wasn't played on a board but instead on the ground. There is always 32 pieces in a game of chess and each maid and guard played the part of the pieces. They were dressed with white and black clothes.
The floor was designed just like the board of the game was. Everything was alike except that the Pieces were humans and not just peices so literally they stood while playing the game and The Highnesses stood playing.
Suddenly they stood really closed as they talked.
"I told you I've learnt over this years, I got prepared just because of you and now I defeated you." Lyra said walking close to him.
"I'm his Wife, so let me in." Reina creased her brows.
"I'm so sorry Your Highness." He bowed and gave way for her to pass.
Just then Lyra tripped over the rug and fell to his chest, and he caught her just in time before she fell. Reina came in to see Lorcan holding her mid-air and they both stared into each other's eyes.
She stood in shock as memories from last two nights filled her head, the kissing images and all of it, now she was seeing this what else would he tell her that would make her believe he has nothing going on with Lyra?.
She ran out with angry tears to the field when she met Matthew on her way.
"Are you alright Your Highness?" He asked as he saw she was crying.
Reina just ran to the field without replying to him, and he just stood watching her.
Lorcan had returned from the hall only to go into the room not finding Reina anywhere.
"Reina?." He called searching for her all over the room.
His heart was pounding with fear that something bad had happened to her cause she had never gone anywhere without informing him, so he wondered where she went.
He left the room to the guest quarters where he saw Matthew coming from the field.
"I can't find My Princess anywhere in the Palace." His eyes were filled with so much anger and the only way he would be okay is just for Reina to be found.
"I saw her." He said.
"Where is she?." Lorcan asked.
"I saw her coming from the game of chess hall, I think she was crying over something, she didn't look okay." He looked into his eyes and saw that this was a serious one. Lorcan never joked with something precious to him.
"She was in the hall?, but I didn't see her." He turned his head from sides to sides searching for her.
"I really don't know Your Highness, she ran out of there with tears in her eyes, I tried to ask her if everything was alright but she just ran to the field."
Lorcan knew she had seen what went on in there and she misunderstood, he needed to explain things to her before she did something to herself.
He walked to the field in a hurry without saying a word to Matthew.
He looked around the field hoping to see Reina but he couldn't find her anywhere.
"Is everything alright Your Highness." Matthew came to him.
"I can't find Her anywhere." He said fuming.
He halted when he saw one of his men coming to him, panting like he ran a race.
"There's a stranger in the Palace Your Highness dressed in Royal guards clothes, when I inquired, the guards told me there were no new guards recruited, so I followed him and saw him take the Princess outside of the Palace, I tried to fight him but two other men came out of nowhere and knocked me out." He said with a bruised face.
"Why didn't you call for the men?" Matthew yelled.
"They were far away Commander." He bowed, giving his head to Lorcan. He knew his punishment, he knew he wouldn't spare him for putting his wife's life at risk.
"This only means, he was sent here by Theodore." He glared angrily at the servant.
"You had only one duty, and that was to protect My Wife and you couldn't!. I shouldn't have let her out of my sight, and now Theodore has her, he now has what he wanted!." He was fuming as his eyes changed its color to flames.
"Should I call for the warriors Your Highness?." Matthew asked calmly not to anger him.
"I'm sorry Your Highness, do anything you please for I have failed as your servant." He knelt.
"The war was in few days time but now he asked for it." Lorcan yelled.
"Get the horses!!." Matthew yelled and they went in search for Reina outside the Palace.
Not just them, the other warriors from the Kingdom of Agrah accompanied them to the Kingdom of Samai.
"What's happening." Lyra rushed to Lorcan.
"A man came here in disguise as one of the palace guard to kidnap My Princess." He was already on his horse.
"Oh my goodness!" She exclaimed. "Can I come with you so we could look for her together." She asked.
"I'm not looking for her, I already know where she is." He halted. "Let's go!" He yelled as all the brigade of armies left the Palace.
There were over hundred warriors that accompanied Lorcan to fight the war.
