Jack smiled despite himself. Above him he could hear Ava pulling off her sweater and wriggling out of her jeans, oblivious to all his muddled sexual dirty thoughts.

She yawned noisily. 'Never mind werewolves. All this sleeping all day and staying awake all night – we're becoming vampires.'
'Not me,' Jack whispered. 'Once bitten, twice shy.'
In the cramped little cabin, listening to Ava's rhythmic breathing, Jack felt safer than he had for days. But he wasn't just feeling safe, he was feeling hot, bothered, and strained. He needed to release some tension or it was going to drive him crazy.
