After Hajin had passed out, he felt like he had fallen into a deep sleep. He did not have any dreams and truly lost consciousness. After what seemed to be forever, Hajin's eyes opened slowly. When he opened his eyes, he saw a brown wooden ceiling made of logs. 'Where am I?' Hajin thought before trying to sit up. As soon as he attempted to sit up, a flash of excruciating pain assaulted his body. A loud and painful groan escaped his mouth as he leaned back on the headboard. After finding a way to lean on the headboard comfortably, he checked his body. Hajin felt the rough texture of a white wool shirt and matching white wool pants against his skin. The clothes were slightly see-through, and through them, he noticed bandages tightly wrapped around his torso and each forearm.
After inspecting his injured body, Hajin looked around. He noticed that he was in a simple room that seemed to be from a log cabin. The room had a wooden interior with a fireplace two meters in front of him. There were two windows, one on each side of the room, where the sunlight came through the curtains. In the middle of the floor, there was a carpet with intricate designs, and in the middle of the roof, there seemed to be a strange crystal that emitted light.
"Where the hell am I?" Hajin muttered aloud.
Although he did not know where he was, he assumed that he was safe due to his injuries being treated and obviously not being tied up or imprisoned. Hajin decided not to worry about it at the moment because whether he was saved or captured, the person who did it would come to see him eventually. He relaxed and got lost in his thoughts. The memory of his battle slowly resurfaced in his mind, causing him to grimace in pain. 'I really beat that thing?' Hajin asked himself internally. The beast he fought had nearly killed him, and Hajin himself thought he was going to die, but he somehow pushed through and won.
"Pretty scary for my first battle," Hajin chuckled to himself before wincing in pain.
It was his first battle in a new world, and he had already almost died. In Hajin's eyes, it was nothing like the manga he had read. He knew that he nearly died against some random beast, so his odds against his actual enemies were going to be bad.
While thinking about the entire fight, Hajin remembered something.
"Status," Hajin said quietly.
The translucent screen of the system interface appeared before Hajin's eyes.

Hajin frowned when he read his status. 'Advancement required? Well, that's new,' Hajin thought. This was surprising to him, but he automatically knew it was because he had killed the beast. Hajin had no clue how to use his system, so he just pressed 'advancement required,' and surprisingly, a list of classes popped up.
[Advance Class Options
Swordsman
Knight
Hunter
Creator]
"So this is kinda like an MMO," Hajin muttered.
Hajin frowned, noticing that he did not have many class options. He did not know if this was considered a lot, but something told him that it wasn't many. Hajin scanned the list before nodding. 'Swordsman is obvious, but I'm not sure what the difference between swordsman and knight would be. I assume knights have armor or something of the sort. Hunters probably use stuff like bows and daggers, and I assume a creator is like a blacksmith.' Hajin thought about all these things as he scanned the list a few more times. He scanned the list a final time before coming to his decision. 'I guess I'll become a swordsman because not only did I use a sword to kill that monster, but I don't feel like any other class would suit me. Plus, that black-haired guy used a sword too.' Hajin made up his mind and selected Swordsman.
[Once class is changed, it cannot be reverted. Confirm?]
Hajin steeled his resolve and confirmed it.
[Class is now changing.]
Immediately after the system prompted that his class was changing, all Hajin's lingering pains disappeared, and all his injuries immediately closed. He felt his body grow and compress again, and an odd energy flowed through his body.
[Congratulations! You have become a Swordsman. You have obtained the passive skill "Sword Mastery." All base stats have increased.]
After Hajin finished reading, his status appeared again.

A big smile appeared on Hajin's face as he realized not only were his wounds healed, but now he felt stronger than he had ever felt in his life! Hajin sprang out of the bed and started jumping up and down.
"I'm pretty strong now! If I use too much power, my head may bang on the ceiling!" Hajin exclaimed. Now Hajin truly felt like a superhuman. He looked at his status again and noticed something different.
"Passive Skill? That wasn't there before."
Since Hajin felt that was self-explanatory, he did not bother thinking too much about it before hopping back on the bed. 'Now all I have to do is wait for whoever brought me here to come and speak to me,' Hajin thought before leaning back on the bedframe.
As if responding to Hajin's thoughts, the door opened. A tall boy with a lean frame walked into the room. He had ginger hair and deep brown eyes with a calm smile on his face.
"I see you're all healed up by the amount of noise you just made," the boy said.
Before Hajin could reply, the boy moved like a ghost, appearing before Hajin and inspecting him closely.
"How did you heal so quickly? Your wounds were gruesome and life-threatening. How are you already healed?" the boy asked.
The boy reached out his hands to prod at Hajin's body, but Hajin scooted back quickly, causing the boy to frown.
"I apologize, that was weird of me. My name is Leo, and I saved you from dying after your battle with the dark beast."
Hajin frowned before asking the question that had been biting his mind since he woke up.
"Where am I?"
Leo smiled before replying, "Welcome to Parus City!"

I will now be publishing a couple chapters a week on an inconsistent basis, sorry for disappearing for months. I know the series is slow/bad right now but it will pick up, I didn't completely plan these earlier parts of the story. I have chapter 8+ planned out but I will try to make these earlier chapters better.
