Chereads / A Disciples Fate / Chapter 109 - Teaching Kyanseru

Chapter 109 - Teaching Kyanseru

In different locations, Kiyoshi, Ruri and Sky are teaching the three about Kyanseru.

"So Kuragami,"

"So Sasaki,"

"So Homura,"

"The first thing we're gonna do is learn about Kyanseru."

"Kyanseru is a energy different to aura."

"It's a invisible radioactive like energy that is used to overwhelm aura itself."

"Everyone has Kyanseru."

"It just takes intense training to be able to use it."

"Or in some circumstances, when you have as little as less than 1% of your aura left, your Kyanseru might leak out."

"I thought so. That's how I defeated Binsa. But my Kyanseru was way stronger than hers straight away. How come?"

"A person Kyanseru's strength is mostly dependant on their bloodline."

"For example Kuragami since your Ryoma Nozomi's son, your Kyanseru will be strong at the start since he was a formidable Disciple."

"Say Sasaki, do you know anyone from your bloodline?"

"You know I don't."

"Just making sure."

"So if you want to become the strongest Homura, you have to make sure you know Kyanseru. Yours will be strong from the start since you're kin from the Endou Clan."

"Perfect!"

"So that's pretty much all you need to know. Now onto the training."

The three of them are being told their training methods to learn Kyanseru.

Kiyoshi is telling Kuragami about a method called 'The Crimson Trial'.

"Kuragami. I'll be taking you to the heart of an active volcano in the Fire Section."

The volcano, which used to be a mountain called 'Mount Crimson', where the scorching lava flows and blistering heat surrounds the area.

"A volcano?! Kiyoshi do you want me to die?!"

Kiyoshi sighs.

"Do you want to get stronger or not?"

"I do."

"Good. Anyways, you will have to navigate through paths in the volcano, avoid some molten eruptions and endure the extreme heat, all without using aura."

"What the-"

"That's not it. There's some lava creatures created by the molten lava itself, Lava Golems. Some were there from recent, they're the weaker ones. I would advise you to stay away from the ones that were made from hundred years ago. Luckily they can only survive within the volcano because if not, the whole Fire Section will turn to its own volcano."

Kuragami gulps.

Kiyoshi thinks to himself,

"Well that's an exaggeration. I just want to know if he'll actually fight them."

"So..how would I know if it was made 100 years ago."

"Trust me you would know. They're rare to find though so I wouldn't worry about them."

"Okay. But how will this help me use Kyanseru?"

"Well because this training method will challenge your physical endurance, mental fortitude, and ability to withstand extreme conditions. To unlock Kyanseru, you must tap into your inner strength and channel the energy within you to react to the dire situation."

Kuragami nods. He cracks his knuckles.

"I can't wait. Let's go there now!"

"Well your eager. Fine. We'll take the bullet train there."

"Wait a bullet train goes straight there?"

"Yeah. Volcano Crimson is some sort of monument."

Ruri is now telling Sasaki about another training method for Sasaki to unlock Kyanseu. The method is called 'The Frozen Crucible'.

"You will be deep within the heart of a secluded mountain range. You will be subjected to temperatures colder than sub-zero during this training."

He must endure relentless blizzards, biting winds, and treacherous icy terrains and monsters born from the ice itself that threaten to break their spirits and freeze his very soul.

He must also conquer towering ice cliffs, their sheer surfaces offering no respite, demanding exceptional agility and strength.

The Frozen Crucible leaves no room for weakness or hesitation. Otherwise before he knows it, he will die.

"Wouldn't I freeze to death?"

"Maybe. It's up to you and your Kyanseru though."

Sasaki sighs.

"How is this even gonna help me unlock my Kyanseru?! Your just setting me up to die!"

"The Frozen Crucible will push you way beyond your limits, and tap into the dormant power of Kyanseru within yourself."

"Is that so?"

Sasaki gets excited.

"Well sign me up then!"

Finally, Sky is telling Homura about another training method. This training method is called 'Tempest's Wrath'.

"For this Homura, I'll take you to Tempest Island in the sky where for eternity, there's violent and relentless thunderstorms."

The objective is to endure the storm's wrath while staying grounded and maintaining focus.

Homura must withstand the heavy rainfall, which falls with such force that it feels like countless needles piercing their skin. The raindrops there are large and heavy, making movement difficult and hindering visibility.

The powerful gusts of wind on the island accompanies the thunderstorms which will threaten to knock anyone off balance.

The deafening thunder, blinding flashes of lightning, and relentless downpour can overwhelm his senses. When he's there, he must learn to stay calm, focus his minds, and embrace the chaos surrounding him.

"That sounds crazy Sky. How is this even going to help me unlock Kyanseru?"

"Well this training method will push you to their physical and mental limits, subjecting yourself to extreme conditions and formidable challenges. It also challenges your mental resilience, concentration, and adaptability to unpredictable forces. Therefore, it will help you harness your inner energy and unlock Kyanseru."

Homura's eyes lighten up.

"Fine then."

He punches the palm of his left hand.

"Take me to Tempest Island!"

Now the three of them make their way to their own personal training grounds. However, it's not certain that they will come back out in one piece. All this, to unlock Kyanseru.
