I could have left the new location with a deflated spirit, but I was still too filled with potential. Somehow, within the hour we waited for the owner, he decided he wanted to lease the building instead of sell it.
I had my suspicion that the realtor had let it slip who was trying to buy it, and the owner was being greedy, wanting to get as much money as possible out of the deal. It was going to take time for the paperwork to get sorted and for them to offer a leasing price.
"You're an inspiration," Roman smiled as we headed back out of the building.
"What do you mean?" I asked with a chuckle.
He shrugged and smirked at me. "I think a lot of people would have been defeated by the deal changing in the home stretch. But you aren't. It really shows just how dedicated you are."
"I didn't think of it like that," I blushed. "I just have faith we will close the deal and things will kick off. Never once did I think it would go smoothly."
