My body was pleasantly sore when I woke up the next morning. I woke up to the sound of Roman's voice. When I opened my eyes, I peered up at him as he chatted pleasantly on the phone. I smiled up at him curiously. He hung up the phone and looked at me with a pleased expression. "Pack your bags. We leave right after brunch," he announced.
"Really? That fast?" I breathed, sitting up.
"It's amazing what money can buy," he said, wiggling her brow at me.
With a shared laugh, we got out of the bed and took a quick shower. We moved with an excited buzz, getting ready for the day and packing our bags. I packed every swim suit in my closet, along with an array of sundresses, cocktail dresses, sarongs, sandals, hats, shorts, and the like.
"How long are we staying?" I called to him as he finished in the bathroom.
"We come back this time next week," he replied, stepping out in only his boxer briefs.
