Antonio's P.O.V,
I was standing at the entrance of the Basement, watching in satisfaction as Matoe, Jayden and Liam were dealing with the Motherfucking Maximo.
They were all matching down the fucker with thier boots, punching him everywhere like a punching bag. At first the fucker was cursing at my brothers but right now, he's begging for mercy.
His voice can be barely even heard cause they've beat the life out of him.
He could only grunts in extreme pains.
Every hits he receives from my brother's sent his bones breaking.
His blood was stained all over my brothers' face and body-Jayden especially.
As they've completely broken the fucker almost to a dying point when he could barely breath, I asked them to stop. I didn't want him to die just yet. Hell that'll be too easy on him.
While Liam and matoe retreated, Jayden decided to go more gore on him.
He reached out of a battle axe and slammed it against the bastard's wrist. A loud ear piecing screaming from him Hollered around the basement as his wrist Bounced off, blood poured of his hands floating on the ground like lake waters.
I smirked as I watched him cried and scream in pains, rolling on the floor in his own pool of blood.
Before we left the basement, I texted doctor Chris to come in time and do whatever shit he can to keep the fucker alive.
"Now let me get this straight Antonio," Mattoe started as we all cleaning up at one of our trap room. "We aren't setting that fucker free are we?"
"What sorta stupid question is that?" Jayden fired while taking off his gloves.
"Well I Believe we all clearly heard the promise Antonio made to Rachael." Mattoe pointed out and as if recovering thier memory they'll gave me thier attention.
"Well, I'm afraid I'm breaking my own words for the first time. Hell that fucker messed with the pupil of my eye and I can't just let him go Scott free. I intend to to make him regret the day he was born and make him beg for death. This is just the slice of the beginning" I decorated sternly, clutching the Jack-knife I was holding and glaring into space.
"I totally agree with that" Jayden said nodding.
"But we aren't going to by any means make her aware that Maximo is still here." I instructed the boys and they all nodded.
We were still busy in the trap house when Mattoe's phone rang. He went tense and he brought up the phone to his view.
"A call from Mr invisible friend again huh" Liam asked sarcastically and mattoe immediately bounced the call.
Watching the uneasiness on mattoe face as I was staring intently bat him gave me a sense that he's up to something. I mean what's with the sneaky calls of lately. What's matoe up to.
"Matoe you better tell us what you are up or you don't want us to find ourselves. Things might play more bad for you if it turns out you are into some shady shit." Jayden said to him in a warning tone of voice.
"I'm not doing anything bad." Immediately Matoe said that, he headed out of the room. I called his name to stop him but he didn't listen.
I shared confused gazes among my brothers.
What the hell is Matoe up to?
Clarissa's POV,
To much of my suprise, Rechel seemed like she changed over night. She was the one who woke me up and told me to come down for breakfast.
I was beyond confusion and shock, I kept giving the weird look. After getting rid of my morning breath, I trasiped down to the dining.
Recheal prepared Mac and cheese and set up the table for everyone. She asked me to wait behind while she go call the rest of our brothers.
After about 20 minutes, she walked down all by herself frowning.
"I couldn't find them in thier rooms." She whined, frowning.
"Oh" I mouthed.
"Anyways let's just eat maybe they'll come around later" she bubbles with a smile and she came to seat opposite me.
I was giving her this skeptical look as got herself settled down and dug in her food. No, I'm not suspecting her but I'm just really really confused about this lively-sweet Attitude she's displaying this morning.
"What's it clarrisa? Why aren't you eating?" She asked with a frown as my hands were just under the table.
"Or wait..." she suddenly shrieked as if she just realized something. "Are you thinking I poisoned the food?"
I gasped softly.
"No no it's not that. I am just...Just surprised. Anyway I'll eat now" I smiled nervously. My sister is trying to warm up to me now, I don't want to do anything to ruin. I picked up my spoon but before I could dig in, she shoved out a portion from my plate and ate it.
She confirmed that it's not poisoned. I just chuckled softly and starts eating.
"Wow the meal taste great. It's delicious." I complimented and she just smiled.
"Racheal," I called at the middle of the meal. "I don't know why you changed all of a sudden but thanks for this."
"No, you shouldn't be thanking me. I just felt that I should let out all the anguish in my heart and accept the people who are trying to love me. I've never been treated the way you all treated me last night, I've never felt that way before" she said dolefully.
"I—I didn't do anything. The only thing I remember doing was crying..." I muttered, confused.
"That's it you cried for me. You don't know how much that meant to me. No one have ever cried for me. It was as if you felt my afflictions no one had ever done that. Infact I've never been allowed to cry. I didn't feel like I was being such an emo queen when I saw you crying." She said in an unusual sad tone of voice.
Hold on.. She really hasn't ever been allowed to cry?
Well If she only she knows I felt triggered about
everything. But it's good thing she took it as positive. Though.
Bliss surged through me as sister is warming up to me even though I 80% doubt she's being genuine.
As we were eating, I talked about random things with recheal and strange enough, I was laughing at intervals each time she says something funny.
Sound of footsteps interrupted our moment making me and Rachael turns to meet our brothers walking down the stairs. They all had shock and surprises on thier faces. Mattoe was exempted.
"Wow is it just me or are my sisters really warming up to each other?" Jayden said a deep frown on his face.
"Good morning brothers" Rachel's greeted enthusiastically.
"Good mornings dearies how was your nights?" Antonio responded.
"It was to be honest the best night I've ever had. Kind of" Rachael replied solemnly.
"It was fine." I say quietly when Antonio turned to me.
Rachael stood up and told my brothers she prepared breakfast for everyone motioning to the dishes on the table.
"Are you for real?" Liam frowned and then smiled walking over to the dining Area.
"Rachael what's this about? Why would you suddenly decide to make breakfast for us?" Jayden asked with no emotion as Liam already got himself seated digging into a plate of dish.
Rachael rolled her eyes and wanted to say something when Antonio spoke.
"It's not like it's wrong for you to prepare breakfast but I'll never expect this from you Rachael. At least not all of a sudden"
"Well," Rachael went all quiet and shy? "I just wanted to show you all my gratitude about yesterday."
"what did we do?" Liam asked with a confuse frown, exhausted a spoon full of Mac in the air.
"Let's say I didn't ever expected the comfort and care you all showed me last night. If there's one thing I've learnt. That's crying or showing any form of emotions is like a stain to the mafia name.
That's why no matter what I'll always try to contain my pains. The few times I displayed any form of weakness before, my gang members will all ridicule me for it like I've committed the worst crime on earth. Shedding tears in-fact is one crime I never dare to commit cause the aftermath of it will leave me more broken but you' all surprised me yesternight. I really thought that I was being to over board while pouring out all my pains, But you all didn't make me feel like it. You comforted me like a baby. I truely felt like baby. angrybird didn't even flare up at me as I'd expect."
Everything my sister said brought tears to my eyes but I blinked it off.
Jayden to my surprise held her both shoulder.
"common Rachael crying doesn't mean you are weak. It's very much okay to cry and you are my sister I'll do anything to see you happy. I swear I don't mind killing everyone for you to see you happy." Jayden said so sweetly, his eyes and facial expression was in accordance.
He may not had said those things to me, but I felt it in my heart. I felt my heart fluttered. It just so awfully adorable to hear Jayden say that.
My brothers are just too kind.
After helping Rachael wipe off her tears, Jayden led her to the dining and everyone got settled down.
"And Rachael, you don't have to do anything In return for what we did yesterday." Liam said to Rachael. "Hell it's our right to comfort you. We've already failed so much in past, I'll do anything to make things right for you and clarrisa." Liam said and she nodded.
Antonio beamed a smile and proceeded to eat.
He complimented recheal's food as he took the first sooon. They all did.
"Where's matoe" Rachael and I asked at same time. We looked at each other with a frown and then laugh.
Liam chuckled.
"He's busy. Won't be joining us for breakfast" Antonio told us and we nodded then resumed eating.
"Now least I forget." Jayden said at the middle of the dining, looking towards Rachael. "About MumWhere's she?' He was now cold and dead stern, all of a sudden. No trace of the earlier sweet Jayden.
Like something was suddenly making him enaraged.
Antonio gave Jayden a suprise frown, before turning to Rachel. We were all facing Rachel.
"Mum...? Well I don't know. The lady Antonio showed me isn't my mother." She mumbled after some time.
"Which one did you grow up with she could link us to Mum." Liam added looking all despite now.
"I...I don't want to talk about her." Rachael said and drank a cup of water.
The speed at which Jayden flared up, got me flabbergasted . "But we all fucking need to know how to get to her."
Rachael was confused as well. After giving him a long confuse frown, she decided to match Jayden's rage.
"And I fucking don't want to...don't want to remember her. Let's just drop it." She spat.
Jayden wanted to say something but Antonio caught him off, By calling his name. He gave him a kind of look that shut Jayden up and got him more enrage. He was so angered throughout our meal.
But why doesn't Rachael want to talk about mother? To be sincere I'll really want to know the woman who birthed us.
After dining, Rechel suddenly requested that she want to hang out with me.
Though it came as a shock to me, different thoughts rampage my head and left for me, going out is the least thing I wanted.
Not to talk of going out with Rachael After What happened yesterday, I don't think I can handle any outting. The traumas was playing like a loop in my head but I couldn't turn down her persuading eyes so I reluctantly agreed against my will. Happy and cheerfully we heads back to the living room. Yeah were the one who packed out the dishes after eating.
Getting back at the living room, Liam was cleaning off the dining while Jayden and Antonio were saying something in Italian.
Rachael disrupted their conversation telling Antonio about her plans of going out with me.
But Antonio declined saying "I can't let you both off the hook just like that, it's too risky. If ever you'll go out it should be with one of us-at least to protect you." Antonio said defiantly.
"No, I don't want to go out with any of my brothers. I grew up with guys and I've been out with boys every moment of my life. I want to have a girl to girl hang out with my sister even for just once. I want to know what that feels like." Rachael whined and her eyes persuading Antonio.
Antonio took glances at Liam and Jayden who had been frowning.
"Look I worked in a mafia. A place no one really care about you. A place where you've have to rely on one else but yourselves and you don't seriously think I've not be faced with polars danger do you? But look at me still breathing. If I could protect myself back then, don't you think I equally can now" she continued saying with a pleading eyes.
"No Rachael because Now you are a de costa. your enemies have increased and perhaps if you can protect yourself how about clarrisa." Liam said from behind.
"I can protect her."
All racheal's effort to convince my brothers to let us hang out, fell down the drain. fand I don't know if I should be grateful or not. I don't want to hang out but Rachael obviously really wanted and my brother's restricting her, got her really pissed up.
Rechel's P. O.v,
I was boiling hot inside covers. Fucking so annoyed.
Believe this or not, but I was genuine about everything I did. I deem it wise to just Accept a family already.
I want to lead a different life from my past. I want to give myself a chance to be happy. I wanted to just engage in stuffs teenagers do. Hanging out and having the fun of my life. I know clarrissa maybe no fun but she's the only girl of my age I know and perhaps I could make things fun but my brothers fucking got me enraged by declining my request.
Just what do they take me for. A fucking weakling?
I was sitting on my bed in my room, furiously operating my phone when Antonio walked into the room along side clarrisa.
I looked away from him angrily.
Antonio came closer and tried to get me to talk to him but I kept turning away angrily.
When he sees I wasn't ready for any bullshit talks, he finally signed and sad. "okay I approve Rachael. you can go out with your sister."
My brows spring up in amazement.
"Wow... really?! thank you so much bro." I darted out of the bed and hug him tightly.
After breaking the hug, Antonio Asked clarrisa if she's okay to go out with me.
She hesitatedly nodded her head yes.
Antonio frowned like he wasn't convinced with her response but he just proceed to ask me if I can drive.
I told him I can and he gave me the free pass to explore any of the cars in the garage and also gave me some huge sum of money plus his ATM card and pin, just incase we need to buy anything.
I was really really so happy.
"Cmon twinnie don't be a joy killer." I say in a sing song voice as I playing starts pushing clarrisa to the bathroom.
Antonio POV
I was taking off my jacket when my room door burst opened almost getting me startled.
Jayden barged in like a bull in China shop.
"What the fuck jay..."
"Why the fuck did you let them go out alone?" Jayden yelled cutting me off.
With a scowl, I processed what he meant and know he was talking about the twins.
"How's that a reason for you To be boil?"
"Have you forgotten about what that fucker threat about coming for our sisters? For fuck sake Antonio you know we have lotta enemies who want to take us down and now that we have sisters, They are an easy target. what if the Maximo guy somehow materializes his threats.?" Jayden ranted.
"Calm down. Do you really think I'll let them go off like that? I asked some of the boys to trail them and keep their eyes on them. They'll be filling me in everything that's happening with them."
"Better." Jayden puffed out so much air and he went towards my wine rack.
"You still haven't told me why you were so bent on finding Mum." I asked as Jayden was pouring wine into a glass cup. He stopped and faced me. "You amazed me you know."
"I just have many questions to ask the bitch. I want to know why she left us alone." He groveled.
"She's not a bitch and you want her cause you miss her so much" I smirked.
His breathing increased as he clenched the wine glass.
"You won't be hurting if someone you despises leaves you. You only feeling this way cause you love her and want her back."
"I don't." He spat, angrily.
"You do bro." I smiled and pat his back.
