Chapter 9 - CHAPTER 8

The next morning was like any other for Evelyn, except that since it was Friday there was no morning practice and she could wake up a little bit later than usual. "Hey sis, wake up or you're going to be late for school!" Matthew called out from the other side of the door as he knocked on it a couple of times. Evelyn groaned.

"Five more minutes…" She mumbled, covering her face up with the blanket. Matthew opened the door and saw his little sister still in bed. He sat down on the bed and uncovered her face.

"Come on, wakie-wakie." He playfully shook his sister. She opened one eye and closed it back. After a few seconds she stretched out her body. "You awake now?" Evelyn nodded in response. "Good. Get ready, Ale already left for school… said something about, dealing with a problem." Evelyn nodded, still half asleep. As soon as she processed what her brother had just said, her eyes flew open.

"Wait, what did you just say? Matthew, we must get to school, NOW!" She kicked him out of the room to get ready. This was the fasted she had gotten ready for school, but it was an emergency. Evelyn fast walked downstairs only to see Matthew calmly eating breakfast. "Matthew, what the hell are you doing? Start the car for God's sake!"

"Chill Evelyn, what's got you all stressed out early in the morning? You'll end up getting wrinkles, see if Alexander still likes you like that." He said without a care in the world.

"Matt, you don't understand, do you? Alexander is going to get into a fight!" Matthew looked confused as he turned to look at his sister.

"With whom?!" Matthew shot up from his seat, grabbing his backpack and car keys on the way out.

"Dean Lyons."

"Should I ask why?" He questioned while they got in the car.

"Just start the car." Evelyn ordered. Matthew did as he was told and drove as fast as he could to the school. As soon as they entered the parking lot, they saw a group of people gathered. She ran towards the crowd once Matthew had parked the car. As she tried to squirm her way through the people, she finally reached the center. Alexander had Dean by the collar, both had equal bruises and cuts on their faces. Their hair and clothes were all messed up and dirty.

"Evelyn do something… stop them before they kill each other!" Natasha called out as she reached her friend. Evelyn felt paralyzed. She saw how Alexander threw a punch at Dean, but he managed to stop him and push him back. Dean threw a punch and as soon as it was about to make a collision Evelyn screamed.

"STOP!" She ran towards the boys, stood in between them, facing Dean. "Don't touch him!" She yelled at Dean with a stern expression on her face.

"Ev, get out of the way, I'm still not done with Lyons." Alexander said as he was about to push her away from the fight. She turned to look back at her boyfriend with mad teary eyes and slapped him across the face.

"Are you stupid? Do you want to get expelled just a few months before graduation? Think about your future!" Tears began to flow down her cheeks. Students began to disperse as they saw the Goddess of the school crying. Alexander ran his blood-stained hand through his sweat dripping hair and scratched the back of his neck. He sighed as he pulled Evelyn and held her closer in his warm embrace.

"Come on Ev, lets go." Alexander turned to look at the dumbfounded guy standing a few feet away. "This is far from over, Lyons. Mark my words, I'll get rid of you and anyone who tries to get near My Fiancée." He took the still crying girl towards the school. They walked into an empty infirmary. The nurse wasn't in for another hour. It was around 7:30 and classes didn't start 'til 8:45. Evelyn had stopped crying but was still extremely furious. She treated Alexander's wounds without any gentleness. "Ow… would it hurt you to be more careful? I am in pain, you know." She paid no attention to his request while continuing doing her job. "Ow-ow-ow Ev that stings!" Alexander yelled as Evelyn cleansed her wounded lip and eyebrow with a cotton ball drenched in alcohol. She paid little to no attention to his whining as she placed Band-Aids on his cuts. "Look I know you're upset…" Evelyn cut him off by placing an unnecessary amount of pressure on one of the wounds. "OW! Ok, I get it, you're furious. I'm sorry, I admit I overexaggerated with the fight. I was just going to scare him off but as soon as I saw him, I remembered everything he sent you and… well let's just say my anger got the best of me." Evelyn put away the first aid kit. She sat next to him on the hard brick that was meant to be a bed. Leaning her head on his shoulder she sighed.

"Alexander… do you want to skip school today?" Alexander's jaw dropped open at his girlfriend's unexpected suggestion.

"This is so not like you. Are you feeling unwell?" Evelyn furrowed her brows and shook her head.

"If you want me to forgive you for stupidly getting into a fight on school grounds, you must take me out. I want you to spend the entire day with me away from all of this." Alexander 'mmh-ed' and stood from his place. Evelyn turned to look up at him, he took her hand and took her away.

"Let's go to the beach." Summer was soon to come, and the days were already starting to feel hot. Evelyn nodded as they got into Alexander's car. They threw their backpacks into the back seat and buckled up. A few students that still lingered at the parking lot whispered to each other 'aren't those Alex and Evelyn? Where could they be going? Are they leaving school?' Other students that hadn't been there to witness Alexander's and Dean's fight had other remarks. 'Omg, did you just see Alexander's face? What happened to him? Is he ok?' The couple drove away from the school grounds, heading to Evelyn's house to grab a few things. Alexander's mom got upset that he had gotten into a fight at school and was even more upset that they were skipping school. But in the end decided to let it go. They were young, they needed some time to distract themselves.

"This is a first…" Evelyn thought out loud.

"What is?" He asked as he placed his right hand on her leg, the other gripping onto the steering wheel.

"It just feels a bit strange to go to the beach just you and me. Usually, my brother and the twins would tag along. We were never able to have a second alone." Alexander rubbed her leg and smiled.

"Today we have to make up for all those times then." Evelyn returned the smile and placed her hand on his. The ride was long but worth it. The beach wasn't crowded at all. A lot of people were either at school or at work.

"Alexander, over here, this spot is perfect!" Evelyn cheerfully said as she placed her stuff down. Alexander dug the still closed umbrella into the sand. He placed the cooler on the side and helped Evelyn extend the mat on the sand so they could sit. "Can you put sunblock on my back?" Evelyn questioned as she took the bottle out of her beach bag. Alexander nodded. She laid flat on her stomach and closed her eyes.

"Relaxing, isn't it." Alexander stated as he massaged the white cream on her back, shoulder, arms and legs. Every so often giving her butterfly kisses here and there. Evelyn giggled and got goosebumps as his lips made contact with her bare skin.

"Very." She replied seductively.

"Don't fall asleep on me or I won't be responsible for taking advantage." Alexander said playfully as he massaged her lower back.

"Stop being such a pervert." She replied, opening her eyes.

"I can't help it. Your body excites me." He said with a smirk across his face. Evelyn sat up and smacked the side of his arm.

"Shut up…" She said, her face blushing. Alexander laughed.

"You love me." He said as he gave her a peck on the cheek.

"More than yesterday." She replied with a sweet smile.

"Come on, lets go see how nice the water feels." He helped her up and ran towards the ocean hand in hand.

"Hold on Alexander…" But before she could protest, he dunked them both into the water. "Aah the water is freezing!" She held onto Alexander trying to feel his body heat. She shivered a little bit but had to admit that being here with her boyfriend made her extremely happy. Alexander felt it too as he held her tight and swirled her in the water. "You're such a child." She playfully said.

"Come on, lets go in deeper." He pulled her deeper into the ocean until only their heads were over the water. He pulled her into his arms, wrapping his around her waist. She wrapped her arms around his neck. Evelyn wrapped her legs around his waist as she could no longer feel the ocean floor under her, but she knew Alexander still could. He was her anchor.

"I love you." Evelyn said with a smile. Alexander leaned closer and kissed her gently on the lips.

"I love you more." Evelyn pressed her lips on his again and pulled him closer. The water around them no longer felt cold. Alexander placed one hand on her neck as the other held her butt. Evelyn couldn't help but let out a low moan under their lips. The hand that Alexander had on her neck slowly trailed down to her breast. Evelyn pulled herself closer to him and as she did, she began to feel his member hardening under her.

"Alexander…" Evelyn whispered as they parted from the kiss, both trying to catch their breath. "I want you to make me yours." She dug her face into his neck and slightly nibbled on it. Her comment caught Alexander off guard but soon regained his composure.

"Not here baby. This isn't the right time or place." Evelyn grinded her hips against his member causing it to twitch under her.

"I want you, and by your reaction, I know you want me to." She made Alexander tighten his grip on her butt, letting out a low moan again. She continued grinding her hips. Alexander's desire was weakening his mind. Yes, he wanted her. He had always wanted her, but he knew that their first time should be special.

"Evelyn, stop." He wrapped his arms around her waist, trying to push her away a little, stopping her grinding. "I don't want to fuxk you. I want to make love to you, and this isn't the right place for it." Evelyn lowered her head.

"I know, I'm sorry. I just… I just wanted to be one with you."

"I know baby. Don't get me wrong, I've been wanting to make you mine for the longest time, but I just want to find the right time for it. I don't want us rushing into things. I want to make our first time a memorable time." Evelyn looked up into his eyes and couldn't help but smile. She placed her lips on his. "Should we take a break and eat something?" Alexander suggested as they ended the kiss. Evelyn nodded and they got out of the water. They dried themselves up before sitting on the mat and eating a couple sandwiches Alexander's mom had packed for them. It was already around 3 o'clock, school was almost out, and Evelyn couldn't help but think about her brother.

"I wonder how Matthew's day went at school."

"Probably surrounded by people asking him where we are."

"Probably…" Evelyn leaned her head on Alexander's shoulder. They continued eating while watching the waves break down at the shore. "Is it ok if I rest for a bit?" Evelyn questioned once she finished eating.

"Of course, baby." Alexander opened the umbrella to cover them from the sun's rays. He laid down on the mat and allowed Evelyn to rest on his chest. He wrapped his arm around her body while gently and soothingly caressing the side of her arm. "Rest all you want; I'll watch over you." Evelyn only nodded as she dozed off. Alexander flinched as the small cuts on his face were now irritated by the ocean's salt water. He grabbed an ice cube from the cooler and cleansed the wounds to stop the stinging sensation. He threw the almost melted cube to the side and grabbed his cell phone from Evelyn's beach bag. Scrolling through it he noticed a lot of missed calls from Matthew and a few texts from other random people. One specific text instantly caught his attention. 'What could he want?' Alexander thought as he opened the text. 'Hey Ale, I might be guessing mom already told you about my arriving tonight. I'll be expecting a welcoming party, and don't forget to invite Ev. ;D See you soon, Brother.' Alexander tossed his phone back into Evelyn's beach bag. 'Moron.' He thought before closing his eyes and dozing off and joining Evelyn into dreamland. Alexander woke up to the ringing of his cell phone. Evelyn was still sleeping on his chest. He felt too lazy to answer but still did so in case it was an emergency. Without even checking the caller id. "Hello?" He answered with a yawn.

"Dude, where the hell are you? Have you seen the time?!" Matthew yelled out from the other end. "How dare you kidnap my sister?!" He added without letting Alexander answer the first question.

"We're sorry that number you have dialed is not a working number, please check the number and dial again." Evelyn said over the phone as she took it from Alexander's hand. She hung up the phone before Matthew could even reply. "Aaah, I was sleeping so peacefully." She said as she sat up and stretched out her arms.

"You weren't the only one." Alexander added as he too sat up wrapping his arms around his girlfriend's waist and pulling her into him.

"What time is it?" She questioned as she leaned against his chest. Alexander checked his phone; he was amazed at the time.

"Fifteen 'til seven." He replied, tossing his phone back into Evelyn's beach bag. "Hey baby, I've been wondering for quite some time now, how come you haven't gotten a cell phone yet?" Evelyn turned back to look at Alexander and smiled.

"How many missed calls did you get today?" Alexander laughed.

"Touché." The one and only reason why she didn't want a phone was because of Matthew. He was such an overprotective brother; he would be calling her 24/7 just to check up on her whereabouts. "Should we start heading home?" Evelyn shook her head and pointed towards the horizon.

"Let's wait and watch the sunset." Alexander smiled and looked over the ocean. The sun was slowly setting over the horizon.

"As my girl wishes." He held Evelyn tighter giving her butterfly kisses on her neck, shoulder and cheek. "I don't ever want to part from you, but…"

"Not now Alexander, please don't give me any 'buts' right now. I've had so much fun today and I don't want this moment to be ruined with thoughts about the future. Just saw you love me." She looked up and gave him a small peck on the lips.

"I love you, Ev." He whispered to her as he rested his forehead on hers. "More than anyone could ever imagine. I never thought that my first girlfriend would also be my first and only love. I feel extremely happy and lucky to have met you and to be with you." Alexander caressed her cheek. Tracing her lower lip with his thumb.

"I feel the same. I feel so lucky to have met a guy like you. Someone who cherishes me and loves me so dearly. I can't wait 'til our lives are tied up by marriage. I know we will have to be apart for a year as I'll still be in High School and you'll be off to College, but I know deep in my heart that a mere year will not break us apart." Evelyn smiled and kissed Alexander on the cheek. He rested his chin on her shoulder and pulled her into his arms.

"You're absolutely right. Nothing can break us apart." He kissed and nibbled on her neck leaving behind a small mark.

"Alexander…!" Evelyn protested but he only laughed. He gently caressed her neck with the tip of his fingers. He slowly removed the towel that was still wrapped around her body from earlier.

"I just remembered something…" He said with a giggle.

"What?" Alexander whispered his reply in her ear causing a chill to run down her spine.

"I've finally seen you naked." Evelyn couldn't help but blush and turn her face away. He took this opportunity to suck on her earlobe as his fingers trailed down her body. They felt hot to the touch. Alexander moved from sucking on her earlobe to kissing her shoulder and then to nibbling on her neck once more. He had now left a light hickey on her neck. Alexander held her face in between his hands and gently kissed her lips. "You look so beautiful when you're embarrassed. It makes me want to tease you even more." His fingers explored more of her body as he looked at every centimeter they touched. "You have such a gorgeous body, you know that?" She tried to look away, her face turning a brighter shade of red. Alexander chuckled. He wrapped his arms around her and held her close into his broad body.

"You're nuts." Evelyn stated as she returned to the embrace.

"That's how your body drives me, baby girl." He tilted his head down and gave the still blushing girl a peck on the head. "Look." Alexander pointed at the horizon where the sun was now barely visible. Evelyn followed his sight and gawked at the beautiful scenery.

"How beautiful." She said in an amazed whisper. This was the first time she had seen the sunset. What made it even more special was that she was experiencing this with the person she loved the most. She had a huge smile on her face, her eyes sparkling with joy.

"Your beauty exceeds everything in this world. To me, nothing can compare to how radiant you look right now. You shine so bright, my one and only goddess." He pushed her away a bit so he could see into her eyes. Her smile only grew at his words. He held her hand up to his lips and softly kissed it. "Let's go home, my love." Evelyn nodded. They picked up their stuff and walked back to Alexander's car.
